He could also be losing 11-0 and then get knocked out ,we're himself and get carted off to hospital on a stretcher

Absolutely, it's heavyweight boxing, but you knew what I meant, Wilder has that eraser.

I'm looking forward to this fight.

They were clear Fury rounds. And Wilder was perceptibly feeling (and concerned by) everything Fury was hitting him with in those seven or eight minutes prior to the first knockdown.

If anyone is liable to be carrying too much weight here, to the detriment of his gas tank, it'll be Wilder.

Wilder is a live dog. If you can't admit that you have issues

    Soundly argued, OP.

    What say you, @N17?

I'm a bettor, and I wouldn't take 3/1 on an outcome that was only 50% probable in my mind. Some of the guys picking Wilder seem much more certain than that, though, so those guys should definitely be taking those odds and printing that money. Let's see the slips.

3/1 equates to an implied probability of 25%, so if you were certain that fighter A had a 50% chance of getting a KO and you could get 3/1 odds, rationally you should take the bet and put a lot down.

My personal rule of thumb is never to bet on an outcome I'm less than 85-90% confident will materialize. Occasionally I will buck that rule, but only with small stakes at long odds.

I understand that, I don't like to bet on outcomes I regard as unlikely either but in purely rational financial terms it makes sense.

True enough, and certainly from the point of view of the typical bettor.

The chancer's are out in force!

Look, all I'm saying is I best not see thread after thread of "I KNEW it!" in the unlikely event that Wilder wins.

You didn't know **** all, you guessed(!) and that's ok.

People are entitled to their opinions. Wilder may be the underdog but he is a live dog in this fight.
