Usyk for me. Joshua was totally shut down. Canelo was trying to make adjustments and didn't get discouraged to the same degree against Mayweather.
I can't stress this enough- Usyk clearly won but the ending seriously skewed the perception of the fight. Yes it was a comprehensive win but it wasn't a one sided battering or a complete schooling. Mayweather- Canelo on the other hand was a complete schooling
Idk... I think it's close. AJ got Usyks attention a couple times in there, cut his face up decently, did threaten to take momentum in certain spots. From what I can remember Mayweather cruised through the Canelo fight in complete control....p never needing to get out of first gear. But he also never put it on Canelo as hard as Usyk did to AJ in spots... at the end of the fight Usyk was cultivating a 10/8 level round of dominance. So idk. I'd probably lean towards Mayweather though.
From everything to gather on the scores themselves it seems like people gave Joshua 2-4 rounds and gave Canelo 0-3 rounds (not counting CJ Ross).
Floyd shut him out worse, but as usual took no risks. Usyk put it on Joshua more but got hit more too. I begrudgingly give it to Floyd.
Mayweather dominated Canelo without really getting hit Flush all night. Usyk did great , but lost 4 rounds imo(after rewatching) and got hit cleanly and by big punches here and there from AJ.
Aj got stopped by Andy Ruiz, and has been hurt in multiple fights before. Mayweather beating Canelo in the way that he did was more impressive, especially in hindsight.
Are you also hurt by my opinion ? For me Usyk was more impressive because he beat PRIME guy. not some 23 years brat. END of the story. Next
