They were both almost KO'd by round 4. 99.9999% of the human population would have been KO'd by the punishment they both dished out at the start, beyond 5 they were pretty much fighting on instinct. But, this will take a lot out of both
Why should Fury kill himself in camp to get into fantastic shape, when he can do barely any training, show up, and beat Wilder senseless again. Wilder cannot box, he is hopeless.
I mean Wilder clearly won the first round with a superb gameplan that had the King looking momentarily baffled. I would say that Fury "messed" him out of that plan imposing size and will in a way that was conducive to victory. Fury fought a smarter gamplan in the first fight, scored a draw and was knocked down much more heavily. So, nah.
All will bow. Including the fine Ukrainian gentleman. Not a popular statement in these parts, but the truth is inexorable and denial's days are numbered. The prophecy will be fulfilled.
Was he baffled? He was just scouting. Wilder was breathing heavily after the FIRST round. By the 3rs round he was already very tired and completely done by 5-6
Fury didn't look great but I think that's because he wasn't motivated for this fight. He already beat Wilder comprehensively in the second fight, and he really wanted to fight Joshua. He also had a long lay-off and potentially covid.
Fury looked bad vs Wallin and bad versus cunningham. I thought he looked fine tonight that was a fun fight
Yeah, scouting, baffled, whatever, as Richie Woodhall put it it took him a little longer than he expected to get his gameplan right. Then he imposed his will and self upon Wilder to make that gameplan pretty much impossible to execute.
That didn't happen in the first fight. And no at the top level that shouldn't be happening. If that is happening more than it used to then he is regressing. You don't just shrug of negatives and then say nothing has changed.
