Wilder likely won't be the same after tonight and you can tell his hatred of fury fueled him throughout despite being gassed

I do think he beats This version of Aj
Aj is afraid of getting hurt and I have no doubt Wilder would smash him at some stage in the fight

It's a shootout. Wilder can take a beating and has a better chin but then joshua hits a lot harder than fury.

Before these 2 fights I would have picked AJ easily but wilder showed courage a toughness whilst AJ showed weakness.

What a fight it would be a pure crapshoot.

AJ has bags more experience than Wilder and has said previously that the strategy would be to smother him and take away his right hand

This was before Fury implemented that game plan

AJ doesn’t have the heart to beat Wilder.

Wilder does not have the age to beat Joshua.

I disagree, full stop. I hope they make this happen, AJ will be lucky to make through 6 rounds.

A boxer with crazy power who can take punishment and still retain power Vs a boxer with lesser power, who can't take punishment and can't retain his power.

Wilder flattens him. Theoretically of course because this fight is never ever happening.

    No he wouldn’t!

Not a chance (outside of a punchers chance) that Wilder Beats Joshua.

Joshua is a much better technical boxer than Wilder and AJ has genuine power that Deontay can’t take even with the extra weight.

The only imponderable is how AJ fights, if Joshua is capable of going back to the brutal style that brought him his success then he would batter Wilder inside 5 rounds. If he tries to stick with the pure boxer style then he offers Wilder a Chance by allowing him to stick around.

After watching tonight’s fight and AJ’s fight against Usyk, I would make Wilder a slight favorite.

Wilder has a warrior’s fighting spirit, AJ doesn’t. AJ is afraid to get hit and the moment Wilder starts windmilling, AJ may get scared. If Wilder lands, AJ will be mentally done even if the punch doesn’t knock him out.

AJ is still a better fighter though. Better skills and a better ring general. If Wilder fights at AJ’s pace, he’ll lose and may get KO’ed. If he comes out aggressive, he can put the fear of KO into AJ and make him fold.

Normally I’d go with the guy with better skillset, but toughness and grit is more of a factor at HW than It is in other divisions so I’ll say It’s 50/50 for now. But we need to see how Wilder will look after this beating, and how Joshua will look after the Usyk rematch.

And, while I wouldn’t say that Wilder has a granite chin, his chin is definetly much better than the idiotic chincheckers have yapping about.

Nah I don't see it. When Fury dropped Wilder in rd 3, I couldn't help thinking that if that was an AJ right hand Wilder wouldn't of survived the round. Fury is a big man with a pretty good punch but he isn't a big puncher, Joshua hits a lot harder than Fury.

Wilder can't retain power. It's incredible that you've watched the fight and that's your takeaway. Those same punches that floored Fury in round 4 were bouncing off his head by round 6.

AJ would smash Wilders skull within 3rds.

This ain't no Tyson - COVID infected feather duster.
