We may have a new contender for my best H2H heavyweight in History.

If this fight were to happen, who would win and why?

    the Klits every time.

Fury has only fought 5 Noted fighters of true worth.

Vitaly was a monster on the score cars and the harder puncher. I'd favor him.

He has fought and beaten a better class and by a clear margin. Fury's best win is over and old Wlad ( age 39 ) when he was at his best and Wilder who was ranked but himself has a thin resume. Yes Vitaly resume is on the light side too but he has fought way more ranked men.

I think he wins the Byrd re-match for sure and takes out the older Lewis as well. Didn't get the chance for a re-match, Lewis retired and if you think Byrd won for another reason that the ripped up shoulder I disagree.

    Absolutely not.

He beat more ranked men (by distance), but Fury beat better fighters.

He fought better competition, more ring magazine raked men and beat more contenders. Fury hasn't done much outside go beating an old champion and Wilder. How you view Wilder factors greatly in Fury resume.

It's based upon the fac that the fighters he beat were better.

I'm happy to pick old Wlad over every single man Vitali ever beat. I also think Wilder would do very very well against the field. I think Sam Peter is the highest ranked guy Vitali beat

Klitschko for me. I think his workrate and gas tank win this.

Tough fight to call. 50/50. It depends on how Fury fights. If he fights defensively (ala W Klitschko) he wins wide on points. If he's aggressive, he gets stopped. He's good, but no Lennox Lewis on the inside, nor does he have his punching power. Also, Vitali is not Wilder for him to manhandle. So I'd say Fury because I think he'd be smart enough not to go toe to toe with Vitali.

Fury is faster , more skilled , has better footwork , has a higher ring IQ , has a far better inside game and has a better jab.. It doesn't take a genius to figure out who would win.
