No doubt Wilder can become Champion again, he could beat Usyk or AJ I think, but people saying he should retire is silly

    I doubt it.

He will be 37, possibly near 38 before he's in line to fight for a title again.

Speed and explosiveness are what makes Wilder dangerous. These attributes have already been declining, and will have declined even more so by the next time he fights.

That's not even touching the probable lasting effects this fight will leave on him.

And no he doesn't beat Usyk.

By now only 3 fighters can hold the titles: Fury, Usyk and Joshua. Wilder is out of the way.

To beat them he must first be in a position to face them. And that doesn't seem to be imminent. And every wortwhile HW will be danger to him. Ortiz gave him hell when he was four years younger than today and didn’t have the mielage of been put through the wringer twice by Fury.

He took an even worse beating than the last time yesterday. What he has left physically and mentally after that is anyone's guess.

So putting together good enough wins to get back in contention and then also beating someone with a title seems a big ask right now.

He can't beat Usyk, he has a good shot at beating Joshua. I don't know what else is out there for him, retirement is definitely something Dumbtae should consider.

    I find this almost delusional.

I mean, anything is possible, but it is in no way likely.

    Wilder has eight kids. Eight.

He "could" become champion again but it's not guaranteed.

During the second Fury fight, Wilder turned his head and got hit hard behind the ear. From then on he had no equilibrium and lost. After the hard punch that dropped Wilder last night in the third, his equilibrium was off, more so than it should have been.

Wilder needs a full medical exam to detail the extent of the damage however that isn't enough...

Wilder has a bad habit of turning his head when he sees a punch coming which has led him to take shots on or behind the ear and temple. Every single punch he takes behind the ears going forward could be the one that causes immediate permanent injury to his brain.

He's rich, he has a family and fought his heart out, redeeming himself as much as possible. He is thirty six and will be thirty seven before he fights again...

Jesus you people honestly want to see him in a wheelchair or coma?

Best he could do is probably WBA regular champion. He could beat Trevor Bryan or Dubois if Dubois has relieved him of the belt. But Usyk or Fury are simply out of his league.

He doesn't need to chase belts anymore. They won't do anything for him. I'd like to see him take time off, lose weight, get a KO win in a tuneup and then fight Joshua. That's still a great fight if they both have anything left. Especially Wilder, as he has been smashed in two straight fights.

Wilder should start to get slower in the years ahead.

with his power and a vulnerable champ in there, sure he can.. But can he beat anyone with top skills like Fury or Usky? Or the old style of Lennox or Evander? I don't think so.

Been saying it for a long time, he's going to retire.

Who does he fight that he's guaranteed to beat? Doesn't deserve the Usyk fight, which he'd lose anyway. Joshua and Whyte both give him problems and even a motivated Ruiz could put it on him.

He turns 36 later this month and will need more than 1 win to put him back in the title fight conversation. He doesn't have it in him to make the comeback and it's too late for him to start learning new tricks. Won't recover mentally from losing twice (Three times in the eyes of most) to Fury because he can't accept he was beaten by the better man. He's delusional and won't take the difficult fights because in his eyes he's above the likes of Joshua and Whyte.

The whole Bronze Bomber persona with the mask, etc, would also look stupid coming out for a non-title fight.

    It's over.
