    If Wilder fights Ruiz and obliterates him, besides be even more annoying than he already is somehow, he'd simultaneously accomplish 2 things for 2 other fighters.
    1. He'd raise Furys wins over him and thus make Fury seem even better of a fighter
    2. He'd significantly lower AJ's resume all time
    Very interesting and actually plausible next fight for Wilder in 2022, I could see him beating Ruiz

    Yes it's possible. Ruiz can blow really hot and cold and right now he seems vulnerable to getting picked off.

    Personally I'd rather Ruiz fight Helenius and get his KO that way. Helenius deserves it.

    This was his last shot at a title, he needs to beat someone like Ruiz to get another shot in my opinion
    Maybe a year or two later

    I don't think he'll officially retire, but I don't expect to see him back in the ring any time soon.

    I'd guess he comes back 2022 and fights someone at the Fringe level to get his name back in the mix

    Wilder took a lot of damage last night. His better option at this point would be to retire. Lots of cash..ride off into the sunset and enjoy life. Once you start getting ko'd....imo....it is easier to be ko'd again. I have seen it in people too many times. Have heard dr.'s talk about it. Not a good thing.

    When he was just saying crazy stuff and not scheduling a fight last year I thought he was retired or would soon.

    After watching him run face first into the buzzsaw I get the impression he is going to keep rolling until the wheels fall off. He's learned the world doesn't end when you lose and you still get paid so why not do it again?

    PBC made Ruiz vs Arreola a PPV, they will put on Wilder's funeral if that's all there is left.

    It wouldn't effect AJ's resume at all. People's mindset on **** like this is stupid. Styles make fights. Maybe someone AJ fought and beat would be more difficult to deal with for Wilder.

    Ruiz is taylor made for Wilder. No head movement whatsoever, just sits there in the fire line, waiting for you to counter.
