For me he is still better than most of the heavies and thats his limit imo. He isnt the rebirth of Muhammad Ali as he has been shamlessley sold as.

He beats all the big heavies for me bar Fury and a shootout with Wilder id slightly favour Wilder in as Joshua just doesn't move his head.

The 'small' guys like Usyk and even hunter will always cause Joshua problems as he struggles with movement but he has power and you never know at this weight.

    Lots of weaknesses.
But his main weakness at this juncture is Robert McCracken. Because I really can't see AJ improving on any of his flaws now with that guy in charge of his training and strategy.
I don't usually put the blame on trainers but in this case, AJ needs a big change.

I know it won't happen but if i was AJ I would be begging Sugar Hill to train him.

In my opinion, AJ’s biggest weakness is the obvious loss of self belief. Asking himself too many questions now and not trusting his instincts.

He lacks heart, mentally retreats into his shell when he's hurt.

He didn’t win many rounds but I’d say having Fury down for a near ten count in the first and also the third with two knockdowns in one round, is close enough.

If Fury had been 100% dialled in like the second then he probably wouldn’t have been close at any point.

Easy to be the dog against the likes of Cornish Pasty and a maths teacher.

Also he still hasn't been shown how to hold and push someone back like Lennox would do. He tried it in the Ruiz rematch but didn't look comfortable.

    Forgot all about Cornish Pasty

Reminds me of the last time I saw Tony Dosh PPV live at Wembley fighting Dr One Legg from Eastenders on the Groves v Froch undercard

Yeah he's tried to become a philosopher and bring that to his approach to boxing. He just needs to keep it simple and usilize his attributes.

Was that the one where he came out to a reimagining of the Casualty theme in a fishnet style vest? Or was that against Skelton or Sprott? How very dog of him

Disagree about lack of being able to box on the back foot. AJ showed he could do this vs Parker, Povetkin and Ruiz 3.

I would say AJ biggest weakness is lack of head movement which common with most HWs at present with exceptions being Usyk, Tyson Fury, Hughie Fury and Hunter.
