That was in an earlier fight.

Did Joshua win the Ruiz 3 fight?

There's loads tbh but one thing that could make him more rounded is working on his inside game.initiating clinches, learning to use his bulk to tire opponents and give himself breathers during a fight..he is miles behind fury on that side of things.but as others have said a change of trainer would need to happen and that ain't going to happen most like.

Main issue as mentioned before is after the klitschko fight he lost the dog in himself.

Everytime his brain gets rattled now he’s in trouble and so he’s relying on being able to outbox people on the outside for 12 rounds hoping for an opening along the way. This has worked against limited opposition but he will always come unstuck against unorthodox movers and bigger men with a better skill set eg usyk, fury.

I’d like to see AJ vs Wilder next to be honest

It's true that AJ has struggled to know how to fight when he stepped up in class a bit.
He's smart enough to realize he can't fight guys like Usyk or even Carlos ****ing Takam as if they were Gary Cornish or a shot Michael Sprott.
He has done well though, finding a way to win most of the time.
He got criticised for trying to 'box' with Usyk too much, but his old aggressive style would have seen him gas out and be stopped in 7 or 8 rounds and he knew it.
What he needs is to learn how to fight aggressively with skill and be relaxed about it. He needs to learn how to pin these slick fighters down and deliver his combinations against clever 'live' fighters, not just tired old men.

Fury is the people's champion - can you imagine Tony Dosh PPV doing this after a fight?

He doesn't enjoy "A good oul scrap" as Tyson Fury might put it. Simple as that. He doesn't need to enjoy a good oul scrap to beat most heavyweights but against Usyk, Fury and Wilder, he needs to enjoy that back and forth battering which he obviously doesn't.

Big Joan Fury said a long time ago that Joshua is not a fighting man and he has been proved right again.

    Good point well made.

AJ is a BIG DOG against shot old men like pulev/povetkin or second division scrubs like Martin/Breazeale/Whyteleafe/Molina

When he comes up against fringe world level guys like Parker and TAKAM he relies on the ref to get the stoppage, and when he comes up against anything resembling elite Fury/Wilder/USKY he looks totally out of his depth.

Since he has for various reasons always failed to get in the ring with the top two, USKY is the only barometer we have of his elite credentials, and he FAILED miserably.

As far as being skilled, technically - he just isn't. Boxing isn't natural to him at all,
he's so stiff and awkward, and has zero balls/heart. When he's hit, he stays hit and visibly shrinks in the ring.
Has severe stamina and heart issues, that's his biggest flaws imo..

As it has already been proven, he can be outboxed, knocked out, he has lost his balls when it comes to getting stuck in and having a fight, he doesn't like getting hit and reacts with dread at the mere sight of a clenched glove coming his way.

This bubble has well and truly burst!!

Had the same problem with the bizzies approaching him in his previous career - did not end well either

I think more a motivated Dull Boy Chisora is about the level and maybe a little higher on a good day.
