And Andy Rice Pudding Jr. is all of a sudden became a massive puncher for the first time during the Joshua bout? @NEETzschean
When did Joshua show heart? Against a 41 y/o man that let him off the hook? In his last fight he was out on his feet against a cruiser in his own backyard and badly beaten. Where was his heart and chin in the Garden when a fat little Mexican smashed him to bits?
Ruiz Jr hits hard. This is why Parker stayed away from him In any case, it was one well placed punch that did it for Joshua there. No guarantee Wilder will land that, especially since he badly telegraphs his punches
Joshua isn't as tough as Wilder, plus has a glass heart, glass chin, glass tank. More glass than the London Shard.
Wilder got up time and time again after getting pummelled by the best heavyweight in the world, Joshua spat his gum shield out against a Mexican fatty on 4 weeks notice. Shouldn’t even be a debate who’s got the bigger heart.
Ruiz Jr. couldn't even wobble the ghost of Liakhovich, who has to be one of the most vulnerable looking shot heavyweights I've seen in recent years. He also couldn't wobble Franklin, the ghost of Johnson or Zumbano Love. He could not even tickle shot to pieces and formerly retired 40 year old Arreola. You are selectively overrating Rice Pudding Jr's power. He couldn't even wobble these guys yet absolutely battered Joshua and made him give up. Joshua is as stiff as a lamp post and Wilder has a bigger right hand as well as a much better chin. Wilder is definitely the favourite to win that and by KO.
You can also discredit Wilder whilst giving credit to Fury. Fury is/was the far superior boxer and he’s world number 1 but Wilder just isn’t very good. In fact he’s terrible. BUT as terrible as he is, yes he is always dangerous, whether he’s tired, whether he’s been down, whether he’s hurt. But there’s absolutely zero boxing fundamentals or anything on his record to suggest he’s any good.
This content is protected Fury has had this heart even from when he was boxing on Channel 5. The Pajkic fight above is proof of that.
This post has more holes than Swiss cheese. Wilder is terrible, but he's always dangerous? It's about winning boxing matches; fights. What had Andy Rice Pudding Jr done to suggest that he's "any good" before he absolutely battered Joshua and made him give up? "Fast hands". What else? He's an absolute plodding pudding, yet his strength in hand speed was enough to get the job done and to offset his many weaknesses. His power, chin and heart are clearly all high level attributes and enough to beat most. There have been many boxers throughout history who have lost to a technically inferior opponent. Look at the overrated Joshua and his loss to Andy Rice Pudding Jr as a prime example. In the heavyweight division, if you've got a dodgy chin, you're always going to be vulnerable to a taller man who is also tougher than you and has devastating power.
Wilder doesn't have a great chin.. how many good heavyweights has Fury knocked down in the first few rounds of a fight? Fury is not a big puncher, yet has repeatedly knocked Wilder down in the last 2 fights and made him quit effecively.
I think the wins over Luis Ortiz and the first win over Bermane Stiverne might suggest Wilder is quite good. Also, if Fury is "world number 1", Wilder has knocked down the world's number 1 a total of 4 times. If Wilder is not "any good", who is any good? Are Parker and Whyte any good? Is Povetkin any good? Luis Ortiz clearly can't be any good at all. Which means Bryant Jennings must have been very bad, and the likes of Oscar Rivas, Joe Joyce, or even Andy Ruiz Jr. ..... is anyone any good?
Wilder would iron Femi out in spectacular fashion. When AJ gets hit, he stays hit, and would get annihilated off one of them windmills.
He’s certainly big in the heart department, and every other department to be fair. A great all rounder. There are many ingredients a top tier fighter needs, heart is one of the ingredients you can’t teach. Fury has it in abundance.
The straight right would split Femi's guard and he would do that funny dance. Wilder would then come in swinging like a maniac and put him through the ropes. The scenes would be incredible.
