Tyson Fury is a gent, he talks a lot of silly stuff and throws insults that he doesn't mean at his opponents to sell fights, like any other modern prize fighter. He just does it better and more convincingly than most. To take it to heart to the point where you can't shake an opponent's hand after a fight is petty and immature, the mark of a lesser man, as he has proven to be throughout this trilogy. Instead of the respect his bravery might have afforded him, I'll only remember Deontay Wilder as a loser now and a sore one at that. You simply won't be convinced and aren't willing to be, so that's fine. Happy to leave it there
When you put your heart and soul into something, and come up short people are allowed to be disappointed, mad, whatever. Because they did it, they actually got in there and fought three times, went to war, gave years of their life. It’s easy to sit behind a keyboard and tell somebody how they “should” act when you’ve never walked in their shoes. I would have shook hands, but I’m not sure if that makes me a better man or a worse man, depending on how Wilder truly feels about the situation and about Fury as a person. My point is this isn’t little league baseball, this was a war, because he didn’t want to pretend to be nice doesn’t make him a bad person. I would have pretended, probably, but like I said I don’t know if that’s better or worse honestly.
A. You act like all posters are just useless keyboard warriors while exactly this population is paying for ppvs and tickets for big market. It is amusement to see another ( non combat sport ) business fans insulting paying customers who are keeping this business running. B. I once had paid all purse ( take home $ ) to my paid sparring partners. Yeah, I later had picked another career, while I do know what stuff is small hall and " a bit " LOL above events.
He prayed to Fury after the second KD in round 10. He literally kneeled at his feet in a praying position in a display of reverence to both his towering gypsy baptist and the gypsy gods and prayed to him. What more do you want?
Its a shame. His bitterness will be the end of him unfortunately. He will come up with every excuse under the sun and wont accept defeat.
Bitterness or hate will always destroy those who carry it but, rarely the target of its focus. When the fight is over, let it go for the sake of all but, mostly your own. Call it maturity or sportsmanship, it’s a vital lesson that’s too often missed.
To be honest, I don't care one iota if The Tuscaloser pays his gypsy tormentor a single ounce of respect today, tomorrow, 20 years from now or ever because I'm well and truly sated. The gods have been generous enough to me and every desired outcome has come to pass I saw Fury's inactive drug-ravaged ghost take him to slick school on his own soil in I Administer an absolutely biblical shellacking to him in II on his own soil which was so unholy it turned him into a recluse for the best part of a year And the icing on the cake a brutal HL reel KO in III after administering an even more biblical shellacking to him, again on his own soil The slow-mo of the final KD is epic This content is protected
Imagine proclaiming yourself a king and then getting your arse handed to you multiple times by a gypsy
Imagine saying "I've never cheated in my life" when you sat out for two years in your prime immediately after winning the world title to avoid an official two-year PED ban on your record. I'm sure Wlad Klitschko choked on his toast this morning when he heard Fury say "I've never cheated in my life." His quote reminds me of Bob Arum's. "I was lying yesterday, but today I'm telling the truth." When you do that, people aren't sure when to believe you. Whyte never cheated either, I guess. Povetkin never cheated either, I guess. Jarrell Miller never cheated either, I guess.
Meldonium was not a banned substance when Pov took it, and it's proven that it concentrations in the nanograms can show up months later in a test. That's why Wada issued new guidance regarding testing for that after it was initially banned. And Fury's situation has already been explained was sorted out with Ukad. If anyone's the cheat it's Beyonce who fights with steel rods in his hand, yet still couldn't beat Fury.
