    Who takes it?

Can i be honest? Styles makes fights, and i always felt Shavers was one of the most overrated Boxers ever. A killer puncher yes! But not even close the level of Ali, Foreman, Fazier, and not even a step below.

In my opinion there is NO WAY Wilder would get KOed by Quarry in the opening round...what Shavers did happen to Quarry.

I could imagin Wilder takes Shavers out in 2-3 rounds, simply becuase he is longer, bigger and seems to have more heart and durability.

PS: Of cours its "Earnie" and not "Earnier".

Yes Wilder would get ko'ed by Quarry. And if Shavers is overrated ,
so is Wilder because he's just as overrated, if not more so.
Shavers was a one-trick Pony, never won a championship,
Wilder is a one-trick pony and did when a championship .
Perhaps it's because Shavers faced much better competition?

This fight would come down too who lands 1st.

Yes he does. He also hits way harder. Shavers is nowhere near the top 5 punchers as far as I'm concerned.

Shavers had just as much heart ,durability and recovery ability as Wilder.
The main difference is the competition he faced which was much better and
VARIED than what Wilder has faced other than Fury.

I believe some of you think "Well Wilder took a lot of punishment from Fury"
That makes him more durable than fighter XYZ". It doesn't mean that at all.
When did anyone consider Fury an offensive powerhouse?
If that's what makes Wilder more durable than Shavers than in my opinion
    you're very wrong.
Just because Wilder was able to take some punishment from Fury
doesn't mean he'd be able to withstand an assault from Louis, Tyson,
Foreman, Frazier , Lewis or Liston, or Ali for that matter .
Fighter far more offensively skilled and aggressive than Fury would
    dream to be.
Every one of those fighters would leave no doubt who won, and
their would be need for a trilogy.
And if Wilder went at Quarry just as dumb as Shavers did, he'd
get caught with something and ko'ed early just as Shavers did.

Your post is very confusing. I'm not 100% decided on my top 5, since I keep changing my mind, but it usually includes the following HWs: Lewis, Vitaly, Tyson, Liston, Bowe, Holmes. If he beats AJ and Usyk, Fury will definitely be in there too.

I'm not very high on Wilder. But Wilder always comes in 100% and gives 100%. Wilder is a can crusher deluxe and would never lose to the kind of journeymen Shavers lost to. I was also impressed with how he carried his power late.

I'll take Wilder between these 2.

I'm not sure Wilder could beat Shavers normally. Certainly, he wouldn't be favored by much.

There's no way Wilder beats an even Earnier Shavers.

Shavers has much better durability later in his career, he went 6 rounds with Lyle (took all he had), fought Mercado and and got up by Sims

People think he has a weak chin becuz of his KO over Quarry, but that's earlier in his career. The same thing happened against Ron Stander, also earlier in his career.

When will he understand that Shavers is without a doubt top 5, arguably 3
