    Hells yes!

But if Hearn was looking out for Joshua as a fighter rather than trying to maximize his income, he would persuade AJ to NOT take the rematch clause, let Fury and Usyk duke it out on the proviso he got the winner, which would allow him to work on what went wrong with Usyk more and possibly even take a tune-up and build some confidence.

IMO going straight back in against Usyk is not going to end well for Joshua, it's not at all like Ruiz in that respect.

No, cause they'll rob Usyk in the rematch. There's too much to lose for Eddie and AJ.

You can see how Eddie has framed this already. He was talking about the fight being a 7-5 situation and AJ was nowhere near his best blah blah blah..

There is no way they'd let Usyk ride off into the sunset for an undisputed bout with Fury.

Usyk needs to be firm on the fight being in Ukraine otherwise Eddie will rob him.

Or he could TKO AJ in the later rounds. Depend on AJs new gameplan.

I don't know why, but it's like Fury always try to avoid Whyte. Not even enegie is the same when he insults him.

Usyk didn't already have a fight with one of them when he stepped aside though did he, theres the difference.

So, no AJ shouldn't step aside, he should fight the fight he signed up for next.

    Which is the usyk rematch.

Fury fights the winner of whyte, wallin and undisputed after that for me now.

I totally forgot about that. Usyk was the WBO mandatory challenger from June 2019 and he had to wait until September 2021 for his shot and he had travel into the lion's den of AJ's backyard where everything was against him for his shot and Eddie ''ReMatchroom'' Hearn won't even entertain the notion of Usyk the WBA, IBF and WBO champion having home advantage because Eddie wants it over here in the UK. Of course you do you beady-eyed snake. There shouldn't have even been a rematch clause in the first place because Usyk was the mandatory challenger.

From what I understand Usyk didn't mind them adding it and stated it was easy money.

    Yes.

Doesn't mean it'll actually happen, though. Edward is too content to logjam the Heavyweight division with his pointless rematches.

If Hearn wants to furnish Usyk with more of that easy money and generational wealth, then that's really up to him.

If the rematch happens, I hope that in one of the rounds where Usyk has Joshua hurt and backed up on the ropes, the timekeeper rings the bell five seconds too late as a receipt for the final round of the first fight. In such a scenario, Hearn will take the bait and complain about it, while making no mention of the bell being rung five seconds early in the final round of the first fight when Usyk had Joshua hurt, backed up and ready to go.

    Predictability: it's a definite character flaw. :sisi1

Yeah I know but he's too trusting. I just hope he was holding back from KO'ing AJ in the first fight and it was always his plan to do so in the rematch.

It would be great if Hearn/AJ accepted the step aside request for Usyk to fight Fury straightaway. For AJ, it gives him more time to reset and heal his mind, and if he's lucky, the winner of Usyk/Fury will be even more war torn afterwards. But we all know Hearn won't allow it, even if it actually benefits AJ. Shame really.

What's telling to me is how an hour or two after his beating AJ was on social media saying he figured out the mistakes he made against Usyk.

Really? Two hours to completely deconstruct the highest humiliation of your career? This wasn't a lucky shot behind the ear like Ruiz, this was a comprehensive old school masterclass.

Two hours isn't enough time to even figure out WTF they were talking about when they screamed "Brillant Boxing AJ" let alone how Usyk took your soul.

Not going to happen. That’s not what Hearn/AJ is about.

I don’t think Usyk stepped aside purely to see who’s undisputed either, it gave him time to adjust to HW.
