Still can't claim to have ever been undisputed though..he's got to be held to the same standards as everyone else.he's got the chance to actually do it in the era he's fighting in though so there's nothing to stop him.
Well, Larry Holmes was never undisputed. Lennox Lewis never held the WBO belt, and did not hold the other 3 together for long. Wladmir was never undisputed. I think most would regard them as ATGs though.
Does fury as it stands now deserve to be held in the same regard as Lewis,Holmes,Wlad? I wouldn't say so but I'm not saying there's not an argument for it.fury can't be considered to be an ATG when he's not proven he's the best of his era yet imo.
I don't think he deserves to be yet. But if circumstances somehow still prevent him from being officially "undisputed". he can still become an ATG. That was my point. Being undisputed is not an absolutely necessary condition.
If Fury beats up some of the bums that Joshua has beaten, fanboys still would not rank him alongside W. Klitschko, despite W. Klitschko's marquee win coming against David Haye and only beating up a bunch of old, blown-up cruiserweights, short or generally useless opposition. And the fact he has been sparked by 3 mediocre opponents and losing to Fury and Joshua.
I don't either but if he was to beat usyk..providing he beats Joshua then he would be considered an ATG no doubt about it.
Ok. And who have Chisora and H. Fury beaten? I only ask because you always respond to people with "X hasn't beaten anybody". How is Chisora better than Ortiz?
Chisora best win of Takam, Price, Spzilk and being robbed against Helenius is more impressiveivee than Jennings, Hammer and Price. Hughie is already fighting Ortiz second best win next in Hammer (and that won't even be Hughie best win as Wach is better). I reckon in the couple of fights Hughie would reusme will be better than Ortiz. Hughie having only lost to better fighters than Wilder nevermind Ortiz.
Mitch, your hate of Wilder is absolutely off the scale. He is 6"7 mate and he has incredible speed, timing, a really long reach and explosive power. It doesn't matter who out jabbed him or out boxed him or whatever, he just ironed them all out apart from Fury and he floored him 4 times. To top it off, he has guts and has shown he would rather be put to sleep than show any kind of quit. Ortiz smashed him up twice and he somehow managed to hang in there when most others would have hit the canvas or quit. Your refusal to acknowledge any of this is just baffling. Put any fighter in front of him and over them 12 rounds his fist will find their head no matter how elusive they are.
Ok. Takam - who has he beaten? Price - who has he beaten? Szpilka - who has he beaten? Wach - Who has he beaten? We can do this all day. But these names your mentioning are not very impressive and Hammer is shot to bits and totally out of shape. Who said that Fury needed validation from Adam Smith?
He should be a bigger star, still has to catch up with the bodybuilder in that regard never mind 80s Mike or 70s Ali.
