From what I hear Wilder is going to box on. The Fury trilogy will stand to him going forward. I see Wilder notching up a few good wins before retiring. Sit back and enjoy them and don't waste your time arguing with someone like Mitch whose posts are as predictable as a Howard Foster scorecard.
The fury hype is way over the top before he's actually proved anything. Sure we can all assume he beats everyone else and is a true great but for me he needs to prove it. Beating wilder 3 times doesn't make him the best of this era. Sure he's looked great but wilder is a horrible, horrible boxer with an amazingly padded record. He needs 3 or 4 title defences against the likes of usyk, AJ, whyte, Joyce etc. Usyk number 1 for me until fury proves otherwise.
Proved anything? Isn't that a bit of an understatement? He has beaten long-reigning champions Klitschko and Wilder, away from home, as an underdog, and has shown versatility in the way he has won them. Some people are so fixated on quantity over quality. W. Klitschko was sparked by three mediocre opponents and people conveniently forget that simply because he racked up wins over **** poor opposition and his marquee win is David Haye. Usyk has beaten Chisora and Joshua at HW, Witherspoon isn't worth mentioning. Fury took Chisora's 0 and battered him another time. All Usyk has on Fury is a win over Joshua, which is a lot less than what Fury has achieved in the division.
Usyk number 1, how do you come to that conclusion, because his best win at HW was beating a very overrated Joshua who forgot how to fight. I like Usyk but he is certainly not Number 1.
Ridiculous post. Wilder was an unbeaten champion, who lost his belts away from home. Klitschko unbeaten in 10+ years, again, away from home. Against Wilder he had a thrilling trilogy (A few great heavyweights in the past have had those too you know?) Those two marquee wins are better than anything anyONE has done for probably 20 years in the division now. Usyk beating Joshua is a massive achievement, and he is clearly number 2 in the division at this time. Look at Wladimir Klitschko’s record - can you really say his defences stand out above everyone else? You can count on one hand the legitimately dangerous contenders he beat. Not slating Klitschko at all but just pointing to facts that stupid defences don’t make you the man - he beat people like Rahman, 7 years after losing to Lewis, Alex Lepai and other guys like Wach and Pianetta who quickly showed their level.
Joshua is about the same level as a motivated Chisora - a well managed career feasting on puddings to protect the exposure of the Matchroom PPV Loot scam. Boy did those PPV Mugths get a good poking along the way being fleeced for 12 PPV fights when only 2 were PPV worthy and an actual fight. Incredibly these people will still be scammed in the future and have no idea what they are paying £25 to watch every time. £250 has been extracted per PPV Mug and that is just for the Joshua scam.
Ohhhhhhh Anthony Joshuaaaa!!!! Even worse the price has slowly crept up from his first PPV. £16.99 to £19.99 and now £24.99.
You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink it springs to mind!!! It's amazing what you can save if you shop around...
So AJ is rubbish, but he beat a super motivated Wlad after The embarrassment against Fury. Fury is an all time great because he beat Wlad and Wilder who has beat no one? Usyk is number one because he has beat Joshua comfortably. But then Usyk had a hard fight against Chisora who Fury comfortably beat? They just have to fight each other
It's funny how the Klitschko who Joshua faced was "extremely motivated" but for some reason he just wasn't against Fury. It had nothing to do with Fury's skillset and brilliance. Joshua got absolutely ramshackled by Rice Pudding Jr, and his PPV mugths still can't admit that he's not anywhere near as good as they had initially desperately longed for. Usyk didn't have a hard fight with Chisora, by the way. Just because he was made to work reasonably hard physically doesn't mean that it was a hard bout. He lost 3 rounds at the most.
Plodding Pudding Chisora at his best - a clinic in plodding but very little thrown and next to nothing landing.
