Why are people pretending this would even be competitive, Dillian been in loads of wars with men half as talented as Tyson. His chin is cracked.
What would happen if Whyte loses to Wallin (not unrealistic).. what would Fury do then? Wait around for Usyk vs Joshua? Could easily be another year
Fury has had a long career of utter dominance, crushing great fighters one after the other. The idea that Dillian Whyte could give him trouble is craziness. In fact we don't need to see Fury fight him, or anyone else for that matter, the assumption that he would destroy everyone with his near perfect skill set and enormous heft should be enough to satisfy boxing fans. Lets just him retire and take his place alongside Ali and Louis in the history books.
As much as I respect whyte for always giving his all , Fury gives him an almighty beat down. The way whyte has struggled with povetkin and chisora I just can't see it going more than 4 rounds max.
Fury plays with Whyte. To quote the great words of David Haye, it’d be more one sided than a gang r...
Whyte is much stronger than Wilder it will be harder for Fury to use 'rough-house' tactics. He should go back to his jab and do a number on him like he did Chisora (2nd fight) and make him quit. No mas.
It's a decent enough fight whilst we wait for the winner of Joshua v Usyk 2. Fury can win on the front or back foot, but Whyte's left hook will make it vaguely interesting. The only worry is what does Whyte have left? Getting through Wallin is not a foregone conclusion. Even if he wins it will be a tough fight and he has plenty of miles on the clock.
It’s not competitive but it’s a good keep busy fight for Fury which will keep him interested because Whyte will hype him up in the pressers, it’ll be good fun all round.
Fury will dominate him he will have a different game plan, he knew all Wilder had was the right hand he will know all Whyte has is the left hook and he will be prepared for it.
That’s his biggest problem. Inactivity. A fully fit fury should and would have had wilder out of there a lot sooner than he did on Saturday. There isn’t a fight out there for him unless it’s Whyte or usyk/Joshua. Didnt Warren say something along the lines of he won’t be boxing again until autumn next year after Saturdays fight? These rematch clauses matchroom insist on have such a detrimental effect on other, more worthwhile, fights it’s bloody infuriating.
