Fury maybe a little bigger than Tucker but he's not near as skilled.
Haven't you size guys learned anything from The Usyk /Joshua
fight? Better skills can compensate for height reach and weight
    for fighters over 200-210 lbs.
It's been demonstrated hundreds of times over the long history
    of boxing.

    Fury's career is not over.

    Neither is Wilder's career.

This means that they have either plenty of accomplishments to look forward to or plenty of disappointments.

Got to be mike tyson for me...by stoppage.

We,ve got most of the forum saying wilders useless...yet hes pushed fury hard on saturday night. We,ve got people saying klitchko only dominated a poor era. Yet fury had a closeish fight with a 40 year old klitchko. Doesnt translate to futy beating ali and tyson...and i m one of furys biggest fans. Furys been absolutely fantastic for boxing...hes a great fighter. Always has been tbf to him. But i still think the skill discepency between tyson and tyson fury is too big even with the size difference. Tyson hit you with about 3 or 4 punches. Wilder single shots. Tyson had wilder type power...with boxing skills as well.

While size does matter, if Wilder, a mediocre boxer (with a powerful right hand) could push tyson to the brink, an ATG heavyweight like Tyson would definetely be able to hurt him. That being said, if tyson cant stop him in the beginning rounds, he could well be worn down by Fury's weight.

This would look ridiculous and be a horrible fight no matter who wins.

The thing is with furys weight...he was able to use it perfectly against wilder because after wilder throws the big right he has nothing to stop fury coming forward. He had nothing or he used nothing to stop fury coming into him. His footworks not good enough to stop him. His awareness wasnt good enough to stop him and his inside fighting had nothing to stop him with. Thats three big things that the legends people mention mostly all had.

Fury got off on wilder first or drew his big punches then followed in on him after his own punches. Say larry holmes for example would have backed off him when fury came forward to punch. He could set a distance where if you went forward...he,d hit you with something big. They had answers for big guys bullrushing them. Wilder had nothing to stop fury when you take into account fury got off first...wilder doesnt really have much counter and wilder needs that extention for the big right hand as soon as fury closed the gap...wilder had absolutely nothing to stop him with due to lack of boxing iq. Lack of insidd fighting and lack of footwork...and counterpunching. You chuck someone in with fury that has these things and the fight completely changes. I,d fancy mike tyson to beat him...but tbf weight does play a part maybe mike was just a bit small for it. I,d still back mike in that fight tho.

fury uses his weight better then anybody in history and cant be ko by 1 punch
mike had a great talent of being able to come out of nowhere and hit those sensitive spots

so it would be a stoppage fury has no way to stop from being hurt from them

fury is akward and moves good and is good at countering at times and can uses combos from angles this isnt a easy match for Mike but mike wins the biggest factor is mike great defense and countering and great timing

Fury is more skilled than Tucker as well as being bigger.

Yes. I wasn't at all surprised Usyk (who is 6'3 and 221 pounds) beat Joshua.
I wouldn't be all that surprised if Usyk beats Fury too.
I'd pick prime Holmes and Ali (both at around 6'3 and 215 pounds) to beat Fury too.

But Mike Tyson, for all his skill and speed, is a come-forward, short, stumpy armed fighter. He never beat anyone like Fury.

Not with Rooney in his corner, he beat Ruddock who beat a guy that knocked out Mike.

Tyson was a far better, more consistent counter puncher than Fury, count how many counter Fury threw v Wilder, and Tyson`s counters came instantly after his opponent punched, his body assault v Tillis was constant, Wilder was pushing Fury back early on with his body attack, he also floored Fury with a three punch combo starting with a jab to the body.

When I read this thread I thought it didn't make any sense at all. I only now-like, just now-realized that these were two totally different fighters. WTF? Why do they both go by that name but one for first and one for last name? Are they trying to confuse people or what? It'd be like when Hulk Hoagan was acting, that then we had this other guy who was there like Jayden Hulk or something like Matthew Hoagan. It's terrible scripting and it doesn't make any sense at all that they would do that.

Wilder & Tyson are likely each a 1/2" taller than you state. But absolutely size is relevant.
More importantly, the lesser & smaller fighters that stopped Tyson did not do this to what we are discussing, prime & Rooney Tyson.
Tyson would have a shot due to speed, skill & determination, but it would be very difficult to stop the man he is named after.

Could he survive & outpoint Fury? Possibly, but given Tyson's lack of inside fighting skills & how good Fury is at mauling, the odds are against him.

Fury definitely knows how to use his height and reach. We're not talking about Buddy Baer
