Fury might actually choose to box his way into this. Whyte has a dig but he's easy to hit, and his stamina isn't the greatest. Could see Fury jabbing him for the first 4 or 5 before trying to walk him down later in the fight and stopping him. Whyte's jab is decent and his left hook can be useful...but a fully tuned in Fury wins this easily..styles Wallin is no push over i'm expecting a close win for Whyte if Wallin had more of a punch i could see him being more of a threat but so far a UD Win over a gate keeper and a UD loss to Fury are the best we have to judge him off.
As I stated I'm not convinced Fury is anywhere near the level his was pre-retirment. Fury certainly clear all to see not as elusive or solid defensively as he was in his short prime. Fury is stepping up a big level in quality if he fought Whyte and hasn't fought anyone of this quality in over 5 years. Fury won't be able to bully Whyte as he has done with previous opposition (could say the same vice versa with Whyte). I predict Whyte win by KO win.

This is hilarious. Stylistically Whyte is such an easy fight for Fury. Really hope it happens because Fury will look the business if it happens.
Each to their own of course but I think there's more chance of Whyte's b sample being unearthed than him beating Fury.
@Mitch87 has all but confirmed his status as a wind-up merchant with that one. It's blindingly obvious that Fury does not need to be at his (perceived) best level of Klitschko or prior to beat Dillian Whyte. I don't know how a slow-footed brawler like Whyte can beat a motivated Fury. Whyte's jab is normally decent, but it will look like **** against a taller Fury, much like Pulev's jab did against Joshua and Klitschko. Whyte will struggle to get past Wallin, probably but as a fan of Whyte I'd love to see him in with Fury.
It will be a carbon copy of Fury-Chisora II although Whyte’s trainer won’t be as compassionate as Don Charles and Whyte will be KO’d badly. This is a guy who has been brutally knocked out twice by Joshua and Povetkin. Not just knocked out but as I like to say “Patrick Truman’d” because he was legitimately blown away and left on the canvas as if he had had a stroke. If Whyte knocks Fury down, Fury would get back up as he has done time and time again against better a better boxer than Whyte in Cunningham and a harder puncher than Whyte in Wilder.
Whytes most recent interview on sky sports tells you everything you need to know about this fight. Usually when whyte knows he won't be getting his chance he shouts his mouth off and give it the big one but now the prospect of having to actually fight Fury looks like it is going to happen whyte was as quiet as ****!! He knows especially after watching that he can't beat Fury and is in for a serious hiding. No running now whyte or failed A samples now is the time to step up and get another pasting!!! If the midget povetkin laid him out I really worry what Fury could do to him over 12 rounds!!!
Exactly. And with Sugarhill bringing Tyson's killer instinct out, it will be a spark knockout on the chinny Whyte. Whyte doesn't see the championship rounds.
Dillian Whyte is a rough customer but he's more on the same level as prime Matt Skelton and prime Danny Williams, rather than a really elite world class fighter. Maybe he'll give Fury a tough fight if Fury doesn't prepare right, but I see no chance of him winning. And if Fury's at 90%+ form, it will be hopeless one-sided.
Not a wind up merchant it's just my opinion. I went against main stream media opinion when it came to predicting the winner on Groves vs Eubank, Joyce vs Dubois and Usyk vs AJ (earning a little bit of money on the first two) Not that I'm trying to make out that I'm a "know it all" at all though as I've made plenty of wrong calls before ( Groves vs Smith, Brook vs Spence, Whyte vs Parker, Teo vs Loma, Bellew vs Haye just to name a few off the top of my head). Hopefully Fury doesn't retire and fights Whyte and we get the answer either way.
Based on the sort of triangle theories you enjoy - the other day you listed 12 or 14 heavyweights you'd favour over Wilder. I believe you bizarrely rank Fury as the 4th best current HW with Whyte 3rd. Based on your triangle theories then - would you back the Povetkin of August 2020 to beat Fury seeing as he bested Whyte?
