I read in this week's 'Boxing News' mag that he is now a homeless, drug addict and has even refused help from his former opponent Julio Cesar Chavez saying that he wants to be left alone, yet there are some news articles online from the last few days saying he has been 'taken by force' to rehab (but this is going by google translate), does anyone have any up to date news on 'Santa Tokyo' ?

this makes for some disturbing reading https://www.infobae.com/america/dep...eador-miguel-angel-gonzalez-a-rehabilitacion/

That's really sad I was a big fan of Gonzalez. Excellent fighter in his day. Nice to hear Julio has been trying to help him out get him off the booze and the streets.

Great video, hopefully he gets himself right, though it does seem harsh that he was 'forcibly taken off the streets' although that just might be bad translation

Yeah it could be a poor translation. Either way I hope he gets clean and off the streets
