I am glad Wilder is not retiring - He still deserves another shot IMO.

Not saying we should get Fury vs Wilder 4 any time soon, but lets face it, he could still easily KO anyone around right now. If it wasn't for Fury being an absolute machine then Wilder would have won. No one else is as impressive as Fury is physically. Even when he is 50% fit he still has that insane chin.

I still want to see AJ vs Wilder.
    Wilder vs Whyte
    Wilder vs Usyk.

I think he has everyone chance of winning these fights, even if he's not always the favourite.

Wilder is exciting to watch, whether you like him or not.

Assuming (hopefully!) nothing too long-term comes of his injuries, I think Wilder has still got a lot to offer this HW division...

Now that unknown of losing is behind him, his "0" is gone, Fury is in the past, etc, I really think he can go all out - he may even be more exciting to watch. He's got nothing, tangible at least in the form of a belt, to lose now.

For me, the fights I'd like to see him in are - in order of next to final fight and circumstances allowing:

    • Ruiz Jr - can see a Wilder KO here
    • Whyte - another Wilder KO I think
    • AJ - AJ should win this, but Wilder will make it interesting and wouldn't be surprised to see him KO AJ
    • Usyk - Usyk should pick up a UD or a late stoppage, but again Wilder can make it interesting in those early to mid rounds, especially when Usyk starts a bit slowly

Part of his soul is gone but I reckon he'd still smoke AJ and have a puncher's chance against Usyk. He either needs to challenge and win the other titles to challenge Fury again or go on a sickening KO roll. He can still make money and have some bangers.

Put a fork in his ass he's done. No one can bounce back from two back to back baptisms like that. Fury harvested his soul, baptized and exorcized him at the same time and he never deserves another crack at his surrogate gypsy father again and if he wants another world title shot he has to earn it the hard way.

Strongly suspect that Wilder will begin to lose fights, very possibly by tko/ko. Once that brain gets trauma it is easier for a ko to occur. of course there have been boxers knocked out that didn't get knocked out again. Wilder doesn't have the greatest...err....the best...uh...any defensive skills to prevent others from dribbling his head around the ring now they have a blue print for doing it. he took way too much punishment in the last two fights. sorry to see him continue. if he doesn't want to end up like a circus geek he should pack it in.

There is plenty of interesting fights with Wilder in them. I hope we get to see some of them.

He's said he's coming back in the summer of 2022 and I don't see why he shouldn't as long as he's healthy enough to do so. There's still plenty of opponents who people would be willing to pay him to see fight. Joshua, Ruiz, Whyte and even Joyce. Now he's got no belt or 0 to protect he can hopefully be allowed to fight the guys he should of fought before.

How well he does in his return fight will be interesting. Will he be his normal confident self? In fight 2 he was saved from being finished off by Breland but this time he was beaten into total submission, dropped hard and left completely without any excuses, he was given every chance to fight back, landed his best shots and still lost. Will he have the same belief in his power? Will he be gun shy? There will be a lot of questions.

I still contend he'll try to lobby for a title fight w/o having to face a 'mere top contender' for a shot.

He should retire. He's had 2 beatings from Fury, physically & psychologically he must have suffered.
His ego & some around him that see him as a cash cow may convince him to continue.
Hopefully he listens to people that love & care for his well being.
He's 36 now, won't fight for another year & is a rich man I'd imagine.
I'm no fan of Wilder, but wouldn’t like anything serious to happen to him.

Wilder will not be able to retire coming off 2 losses for a start,it would eat him up.Alright Wilder can not beat Fury but it will be nice to see who else in the Division he can beat. He has said some things he shouldn’t have and can’t take a loss but the division is more exciting with him in it as well as the exciting possible match ups to look forward to .

Only Fury can do it though Serge. I think Wilder Vs AJ is legit 50/50. Wilders balls are there for all to see whilst AJs have inverted recently.

The only interesting fight for Wilder now is AJ, for the longest time I favored Wilder but as the years go by AJ's chances will go higher and higher. Wilder has been exposed for what he is, if AJ can find a way to bully him then its over.

Im over the Fury Saga. After the 3rd fight, its clear to me that Wilder cant beat Fury. Time to move on, theres plenty of other high profile fights he can get. A fight with AJ is still mouth watering to me.
