Oh, the humanity. Fury is coming up to the 'sealing legacy' phase of his career after taking little punishment from 2014 to 2021. He's saved up for some wars.
I think it was already way dodgy before then remembered Breidis Prescott, the Scottish lad and my boy Danny “Swift” Garcia.
Normally the guys with the glass chins have no recovery. Fury seems to recover very quickly even when he gets dropped
I'd compare his chin to Holmes, decent but he can be rocked/dropped. It's their will and recovery ability that is remarkable
Cope harder, the bloke looked like he was ready to go another 12 rounds after the fight. He ain't going nowhere soon, sit and enjoy it while you can.
Chisora-Firtha-Pajkic were during Fury’s constant fat camp period (losing too much weight too quickly reduces punch resistance) and all were all wars within two months of the last, not giving his chin sufficient time to recover. He was hurt/dropped by massive swinging haymakers from men 210+ lbs, not standard shots. Fury is now physically mature, heavier, more confident and has signed to fight savage punching KO artists on 5 occasions (Haye, Wlad, Wilder x3) was rusty and poorly conditioned in Wilder 1 and Wilder 3 and has done over 40 rounds with GOAT KO artists Wlad and Wilder without being KO’d, as well as getting up from massive kill-shot KD's from Wilder on two occasions. Fury's chin is in the 8-9/10 range. The jokers who claim that Fury's chin is "below average" must logically consider Ali and Holmes' chins to be pure glass considering that they were dropped heavily by blown-up light heavies and cruisers.
He's got a top quality chin. All the KDs Fury has been on the end of are exactly the same, including the latest - switch off, stand square in range and take a full power right hand. You see the same shots just bounce off him at other times. Wilder landed some other bombs in this fight, and the second and he never went down. Lewis was the same. Considered to be chinny but he always went down when he'd lost concentration and squared up. You then see harder shots just bounce off him. Fury got wreckless in the 4th, thought he was moving in for the kill, squared up, moved into range not throwing anything and payed the price. He did it multiple times in the fight, unfortunately for Wilder he only made it count once.
