If Deontay was untrainable, and Breland was side lined much of time by Deas, then why did Breland continue to be Wilders trainer? Thought Breland would have exited stage left once he was not being listened too.

Wilder just sounds like more and more of a ***** everyday.

Honestly, the beating Fury gave him on the weekend might teach him some humility.

As others have said , money. He was there when the camp was paid very little cause Wilder purse wasn’t much, so why leave when Wilder started making millions ?

Breland was actually pretty restrained there. I expected him to really trash talk Wilder.

Still it has to be acknowledged he's far from an unbiased party, and while I'm inclined to believe what he said it should be said he'd have reason to talk badly about it, regardless of what went on behind closed doors.

However it also fits pretty well with what Malik said about Breland and Wilder having no real relationship

Wilder is a dumb guy. he is also an ass. he is also arrogant. you can not teach a guy like that....any thing. I have trained people..without going into all that...when those have been around...you leave them. don't blame Breland for not...he did his best. seems Wilder's arrogance was his worst enemy. Pride goeth before a fall. it also goes before a fool.

Brelands descriptions of Wilder pretty much fit my impressions of him. In summary a first-class ass hole

Here I thought Wilder would be the one "coming out" first:

Deontay Wilder is the only boxer who has hired Mark Breland as a trainer.

While Breland trained Wilder, Breland couldn't manage to sign any other fighters or convince anyone else to let him be their trainer.

People watched Wilder for 12 years and said he needed a new trainer. But Wilder kept Breland.

Since Wilder fired him, countless boxers and boxing pundits have shouted how awful it was Wilder fired Breland, yet no one has hired Mark Breland.

The laundry list of champs Mark Breland led to the title are ... Deontay Wilder.

The list of boxers Breland led to contendership are ... Deontay Wilder.

Tyson Fury said he'd hire Breland if Wilder fired him ... Fury didn't.

The only guy who has employed Mark Breland and given him in check as a trainer is Deontay Wilder.

But Mark Breland says Wilder is the bad guy.

Why won't anyone hire Mark Breland? There was even a story Jermall Charlo hired Breland as an assistant trainer and Charlo said we love Mark but we haven't hired him. He's not training me.

Wilder called Breland "Whispering Mark" because nobody could even hear him when he did speak.

GREAT TRAINERS like Eddie Futch and Gil Clancy and Jack Blackburn told stories of boxers who didn't want to train at different times and didn't listen to them. And they were actually GREAT trainers.

But we're supposed to be shocked Wilder didn't want to listen to "Whispering Mark" all the time?

Scandalous. o_O I wish Wilder had fired him seven years ago before he ever fought for the title. He brought nothing to the table.
