I see no issue here. He likely wouldn't have fought any sooner. He took a beating, went down several times, broke his hand, and is 36 years old.

The last time he fought before Fury III was over 6 months. This is nothing.

Wilder has been suspended from boxing after being concussed in the Fury fight, which is standard practise after a KO loss according to the Nevada state commision, how will this effect his career and the heavyweight scene?

It takes that amount of time for a gypsy curse to wear off. So..not bad news really.

6 months is not much to recover. He needs 3 months with his hand in rehab, then to get in shape again and promote the fight. That is not bad at all. after a knockout Emanuel Steward always said a 6 months rest is required..

He needs a year off at least. This is far too lenient.

Was it just me or did the dazed deontay wilder appear "woken up" many times upon giving him the eyeball test?

    Yeah.

He looked gassed from about round 3 but didn't look good from about round 6 onwards, he looked out of it.

I've watched it back and Wilder took a real beating, I was just caught up in the drama of it all at the time but watching it back it's actually rather disturbing it wasn't stopped earlier.

I know Wilder didn't want his corner to pull him out but the referee could have, the ringside Dr could have, Wilder got his wish of going out on his shield but it may have been a career ending beating.
