    Hey Tim,

I am a longtime fan of yours. I appreciate you being so generous with your time.

I thought I would start things off by asking questions about two lesser fighters you fought: Jose Ribalta and Mark Wills. If I remember correctly, the Ribalta fight was pretty close. And, he showed some pretty incredible mettle in his fight against Tyson. And, although Mark Wills had a fairly underwhelming pro career, he did knockout Greg Page twice! You made easy work of him, but, I was curious how truly hard or easy those type of fights are. In the heavyweight division, almost everyone can punch, and sometimes the results can be crazy.

    Hi Tim
    I'm from Philly myself. Welcome.
You along with Norton have the best true overhand rt I ever saw regardless of weight class.
Can you break down in steps how you set it up then fired it. I'm pretty sure I know but I want to hear it from the source incase I'm missing some technical aspects of the shot.
    Thanks Tim

    Hello Tim,

Was there one particular attribute like speed, power, jabbing or punch output that troubled you the most? Who would you consider to be the most skilled fighter you fought in your prime?

Thanks so much for doing this! Huge fan of yours.

In a different, non Don King era I believe you and several other heavies would have had appreciably more success and accompanying fame and fortune .The lost generation of heavyweights.
A rematch with Holmes would have been epic.I look forward to your expert input here.

    Hello Tim,
Thank you for taking the time to answer some of these questions.

What is your opinion on Buster Douglas as a fighter? There has been a lot of debate on him throughout the years and getting the opinion of a former heavyweight champion who competed during the same time as him would be interesting.

Hello Tim, thanks a lot for taking the time to answer our questions and for providing your insight!

What were your thoughts on Pinklon Thomas as a fighter? Was there anything he did in your fight with him that impressed you or gave you trouble?

Great opportunity to ask questions to a boxing legend!

Have there been boxers or other personalities that particularly impressed and inspired you?

Are you still in touch with some of your former opponents? Are they doing well?

What happened with all those great American heavyweight fighters? There were so many talents back in the 80s and still in the 90s. Is there perhaps a chance for a revival?

Thank you very much and keep well.

    Hi Tim,

If you had beaten Bonecrusher in 86, do you think you would have fought Mike Tyson next?

And how do you think that fight would have gone?

Hello, and welcome. It's awesome to have you here; thank you very much for posting.

I'm probably asking a silly question, but:

You mentioned rubber necking in the video as a technique that old time trainers used to teach. (Where you roll your neck with a punch that you see coming.)

How did you train to rubber neck? Were you just told to do it any time you sparred / fought? Or did you actually have specific drills or sparring sessions to work on learning it?

    Hey Tim!
What are some things you’ve found that most fans just don’t know or understand about professional boxing?
    Thanks!

What's your opinion on the old school Heavyweights like Jack Johnson, Jack Dempsey etc.

Would they have had a chance at HW in your day?
