Well if about Haye: I think that he had more 1 punch power with both hands than even prime best shape Povetkin's version. While otherwise: he was worse than Bellew and this had been proved 2X in the ring. And Bellew was worse than Huck and prime Briedis, not only Usyk. Why? Because instead of fighting vs winner of Huck vs Briedis Bellew had vacated his title belt and went to fight with______ Haye. Successfully beated Haye 2X in row. Yeah, so called " weight drained " Bellew who was formerly legit CW WBC champ ( won via stoppage vs Makabu, current WBC CW champ) was approx 213 lbs vs Haye and finished him. So called " weight draining " was when Haye demanded that fight vs Usyk must be for all CW belts Usyk then had on the line. Bellew had been finished in distance by Usyk. So called weight draining in CW means that for IBF title you can't be heavier than 210 lbs in the ring. Haye ofc in prime shape I think does have more chances to KO A.J than Usyk but otherwise? I don't think he was then able even to outbox Bellew for judges cards.

A opponent putting you to the canvas by any means other than punches is illegal, no one says you have to wear a 270+ pound backpack in the ring, so the ref should be taking action against the offending fighter, if ref does not then the fouled fighters corner has to get vocal, not leave it up to the judges to interpret things.
Its not just size... Usyk doesn't know how to fight on the inside... FUry does. which is crazy for such a tall fighter. Did u see all those Uppercuts he was landing on Wilder? I've never even seen Usyk throw an uppercut. Fury will tie him up any time Usyk gets close, like Klitschko always did... Jab and grab... then he will land those pot shots like he did on wilder...
This content is protected He used to throw beautiful scything uppercuts both with his lead and backhand and the first time I ever saw him fight which was against the Chinese representative in the 2008 Olympics he was throwing every punch in the book, including plenty of delicious uppercuts Here's another one Timestamped This content is protected He throws a number of them here too This content is protected
That's how I think he'd fight, he'd flick the jab, lean back, make it so difficult for Usyk to land, if Usyk oversteps Firy would grab him, lean on and make it messy.. but if anybody can figure that out, adapt and adjust then it's Usyk.
I think Fury will try to use a combination of boxing and mauling. Chisora had some success mauling Usyk and AJ had some success boxing Usyk. Those two things combined with the fact that Fury is much better than AJ and Chisora gives me the confidence that Fury will find a way to win. Usyk is however a masterful boxer and will have a solid game plan and him winning would not shock me but I favour the Gypsy King.
Lol you obviously haven't seen him much if this is your honest belief. Serge already linked the videos however I'll add that just because he didn't have to much against Joshua doesn't mean he can't.
Yes. Usyk will school fury and fury will duck that fight. All this master boxer ****, where? Fury is sloppy and a great boxer for a 6ft9 guy but not better than usyk. Size might make a big difference but every time fury has struggled it’s been against small guys who can get up close on him, that’s a big weakness of his and he knows it. That’s why he’s been dismissive of usyk, knows the problem he causes for him stylistically.
Tyson Fury has shown in numerous fights he can adjust and adapt on the fly with respect to what the opponent is doing and the fight situation ie Cunningham, Klitshko, Walin, Wilder etc. If he senses he can't comfortably outbox an opponent he will turn it into a dog fight
Fury's sloppiness and gangliness will really hurt him against the darting sniping Usyk. He'll also be at a significant handspeed disadvantage (Fury's hands are nowhere near as quick as they were a few years ago) which will hurt him in exchanges. But Usyk has a tendency to get closed down by guys who really bull forward on him, and if Fury can close the distance he can make his weight and height really pay dividends for him. So it could both hurt him and help him, depending on how well he can cut the ring. If he keeps things long, ironically that'll sink the fight for him.
I've been to 2 of his fights. just because he threw an uppercut 2-3 times out of 19 fights .. I'm talking about in every fight
