As a trilogy in the HW division, one of the best. But when people say its the best HW fight of all time it doesnt stack up imo. Holyfield-Lewis II and Tyson- Holyfield I were better fights compared to Fury-Wilder III for me. Great video as always Rumski!

With time I think this fight will be remembered as Easily one of the best Trilogies ever, if not then THE best Triology ever. The fight really had almost everything. Can't wait to see where these 2 go from here honestly.

Great stuff, Rummy. You should be on ESPN with Max Kellerman in a weekly boxing show!

Maybe I should have watched this one live - I feel I'm missing out of what most others are getting from it.

I appreciate there was the ebb & flow of the knockdowns, and tremendous will shown by both, but it was sloppy with not much quality boxing on display in my view. Plus after the 5th round it was pretty much one-way traffic.

Apart from the 2 knockdowns, Wilder got battered in almost every round. It was pretty one-sided in my humble opinion.

I don't see how this could be a great triology when it was so one-sided. Entertaining fights especially the third, but the one-sided nature of the fights-including the first- really calls into question the quality of the triology.

Greatest trilogy ? Are you serious?

Wilder lost 3-0 and got KTFO in 2 of them.

This was a trilogy that nobody wanted. It was ONLY made good by FURY beating the stuffing out of a delusional WILDER.

Back in the day the trilogies were reserved for close battles.:boxing1
Give and take fights were fights were razor close, NOT one sided beatdowns with multiple rematch clauses.

My man Rummy has been on some serious gear.

Three fights for the Heavyweight Championship stretched over three years.
    • Fury, the largest World Heavyweight Champion (not paper/World) in history ... undefeated ... who previously held the WBA, IBF and WBO titles.
    • Wilder, the undefeated WBC heavyweight champion in the midst of a long, dominant reign ... having scored Ko wins over all 40 of the men he otherwise faced.
    • The result is three, edge-of-your seat thrillers
    • Nine knockdowns scored over the three-fight series - 5 scored by Fury, 4 scored by Wilder.
    • Two fired trainers - Ben Davison (Fury) and Mark Breland (Wilder).
    • Two surgeries - torn bicep, broken hand (Wilder)
    • Long Count Controversy
    • Judging Controversy
    • Glove Controversy
    • Global Pandemic/Covid Delay
    • Two of the most memorable and discussed ring walks in heavyweight history (Fight 2)
    • Fighter of the Year award winner - Fury (2020)
    • The all-time largest grossing live gate in Heavyweight Championship history (Fight 2)
    • Possible Fight of the Year winner (Fight 3).
    • Both fighters earning in excess of $50 million over the three bouts
    • Seeing the first heavyweight to hold all four heavyweight titles and win the Ring Championship twice crowned.
    • Three years and thousands of hours of fan debates.
    • Hundreds/thousands of fan videos created.
Yeah, nothing to see here. :campeon:
