If Wallin beats Whyte, he basically becomes Fury's second best win.

Just saying. Whyte is better than anyone on Wilder's record. Wallin will displace Wilder as Fury's second best win.

    Discuss.

He'll give Whyte all he can handle, but i doubt he can win enough rounds to win a decision. I see this fight going 12 full rounds with Whyte winning a clear but competitive decision.

Wilder>Whyte. Look at how easily Fury beat Chisora who is almost as good as Whyte

Wilder might be better than Whyte.

Whytes resume is levels beyond Wilder's.

H2H predictions aside, it would be much easier to argue for Whyte>Wilder than Wilder>Whyte on an evidentiary basis.

This is entirely Wilder's (and his team's) fault for failing to build a better resume - regardless of who I think he might have beaten, his failure to step up and fight actual contenders makes his true level and worth as a fighter much more difficult to have any confidence in.
The fact that he held a belt and could therefore have made much better fights and (assuming he won!) a much better resume is entirely on him - especially when Whyte and Joshua were begging him to man up and especially when Povetkin was also ready and willing... how easy it would've been to build a resume turns a poor resume into a positive embarrassment to the sport, IMHO.

This isn't quite as straightforward a comparison as it at first appears.

For starters, it's debatable but I would say Chisora had improved considerably by the time he fought Whyte.

Beyond that... We're talking about Fury, possibly PED'd up and in good condition Vs Fury after his return, arguably not quite as good as when he fought Wlad and in visibly poor condition for 2 of three Wilder fights (arguably two of three wins).

Oh, and FWIW, Chisora has arguably a better resume than Ortiz as well... So that doesn't help, either.

Wilder is incredibly overrated. Yet still significantly better than Whyte. Wallin could put on a thrilling one sided stoppage over Whyte and that would still not leapfrog Wilders current ranking.

Whyte's not better than prime Chisora.

But Wallin, I don't know how good he is, probably deserves a rematch with Fury anyway.
Unfortunately, "IF" Wallin beats Whyte, there's a one-way rematch clause so he has to beat Whyte twice  to get his rematch with Fury. By which time Fury's probably moved on to Usyk or another fight. It's ridiculous.
So, although I'm not a fan of Whyte's and I love to see an upset, it's probably best if Whyte beats Wallin.

    3rd best.

Whyte is not better than Wlad or Wilder, and he lost vs Povetkin before Pov became an absolute corpse.

Whyte would be utterly decimated vs Fury. At least Wlad lasted 12 rounds, and we don't know what would have happened in the rematch since Fury ducked him to retire.

Wilder lasted 12, 7 and 11 rounds. Whyte would probably not last that long, and wouldn't knock Fury down.

No way. You have to rank Wallin at what he was at the time of fighting, not after his best possible win.
Wilder still outranks Whyte and Wallin, so whoever wins out of them two still won’t be ranked over wilder imo

And yet still has a much better resume than Wilder.
And was openly ducked by Wilder.

Which shows just how much of a fraud Wilder is.
