Already announced they're considering PPV's thought they were game changing.

Everyone gave Eddie Hearn all that credit just because Sky Sports gave him a monopoly of their platform in Britain, because of his dad's pull and connections, and we have had a great crop of fighters the last 10 years or so. It's game over now for him. He could have milked Sky and got all the credit for years but he's bit the hand that feeds.

Canelo's left him. AJ's looking gunshy.

5 years time Dazn will be bust or irrelevant. Fish Eyes, love him or hate him, is now officially the biggest promoter in Britain again and if you can't admit it now it will become more obvious over the next year or so. Despite being massively outgunned financially he's used his superior knowledge to compile a much better stable of fighters and built them up properly unlike Hearn what he's done with Cheeseman and others.

DAZN's biggest mistake was putting all its eggs into the Canelo basket.

They should have worked with other promoters and created Super Six style shootouts from 135lbs to the Heavweights.

Fans would have just naturally gravitated to their platform and they would have been the defacto platform for the best fights.

If they start putting fights on DAZN ppv in the US the platform, which hasn't exactly taken off, will fail.

There is really no live content on there at all as it is. And we pay $20 a month for British title fights and dart tournaments.

The only reason people put it up with it was the "argument" that paying $140 a year was cheaper than paying for two Canelo PPVs a year.

If we have to pay for the Canelo and Joshua PPV fights, I'm not spending $20 a month to watch darts and Ted Cheeseman fights and $89 every time Joshua and Canelo fight,

I knew Hearn was going to do this. He really wants those big US PPV dollars.

When he gets in a situation like Ruiz and Joshua ... and now Usyk and Joshua ... he can really only afford to pay Joshua $20 or $30 million. The other guy gets much less. If they ask for anything close to parity, Hearn doesn't make his money. It all goes out the window.

He can't whip up a show like Fury-Wilder where both guys split 50-50 or 60-40 and reap tens of millions of PPV dollars and keep in in the UK. He needs Saudi money to do that. And he has to take the fights out of England.

And he wants to be able to co-promote or bid on fights like Fury-Whyte and not have to ship it off to a desert somewhere.

They giving stupid amount of money to Haney and people like him.

That is a mistake and they already know it.

Hearn is really weird for boxing, hyping Haney but won't pay enough for Bivol and Chocolatito.

Frank Warren is the Michael Myers / Jason Voorhees of boxing promoters. How many times has he been down and out? I do wonder what will happen if DAZN buys BT Sport though. Warren back to Sky?

I like DAZN but am not surprised they are struggling in the U.S. It's not just the lack of fights, there's a total absence of energy from the lousy production values and absent marketing. No one I know has ever heard of it.

And there's a reason everyone has been doing PPV since the 1980s. It's the only realistic way to make superstar fights happen. If Canelo were more inclined to fight bums it might work to have him on DAZN, but he doesn't.

Frank is certainly not the biggest promotor in the UK...

How on Earth anyone can think that baffles me

DAZN issues or not Eddies still number 1 and by a country mile

I feel like AJ has overachieved for DAZN. The fact that they built a billion dollar brand on a guy who is a bit fragile for an elite fighter is tremendous. If he loses to Usyk and Whyte loses to Wallin it's probably a wrap. Haney is taking the long way 'round.

Most boxing viewers are in denial about it but the reason is that theres a lack of boxing stars, nobody has big drawing power where people MUST watch them fight. All of them lack that charisma and charm, and sorry to offend these fighters if they are browsing but my gosh most of them are boring and have no personality. And yes fury is included, talking alot and cursing doesn’t draw people to you. Mayweather and mike tyson have more instagram followers than all active boxers today, that should not be happening because they are RETIRED, it is embarrassing.

Whenever boxing gets that once in a generation person that shows up all the promoters will be begging for that man to sign with then. Will it be soon? Who knows.

Well, the UFC contract expires in December and if they really do not extend it AND putting on PPVs for boxing they can suck my beautiful balls, i'll definitely cancel it then. They already lost Bellator. PS: I'm from Germany btw. I have full access to boxing and UFC. And i'm paying like 14,99€/month.
