Old man Holmes took prime Holyfield to the distance, and though it wasn't close, actually won several rounds.

Old man Holmes beat Mercer convincingly. How did Lewis do against the same.

 

Who are you on about here? Are you saying that Lewis, unlike Holmes, was able to take single shots without folding or being out cold? If you could just confirm with a yes or no if that's what you mean, please?

Really? In his prime took punches from Shavers ,Norton and Cooney it was only when he was older he was suspect.Dont forget a prime Lewis got knocked out by McCall and Rathmam.Peak Holmes beats peak Lewis of that i am convinced

 

If they do rate Lewis higher than they really just don't get it. Except for punching power Larry did everything better and was better.
