Yes I know the scores. Oscar won some rounds off sheer aggression. Wasn’t necessarily affective. He didn’t land anything meaningful the whole fight. I don’t think prime Delahoya does any better. I was a huge oscar fan at the time. Hated Floyd I personally didn’t think the fight was as close as 116-112. But opinions are like assholes everyone’s got em

Yes, but you also believe that Mayweather could batter King Kong.

    Top 20-25.

Had him winning all his fights, so that helps his ranking. Some mitigating circumstances and missing a couple of guys who could have helped his resume lowers his ceiling, but his floor is pretty damned high. Could be talked into a slightly higher rating, but his floor is pretty solid, imo.

He's minimum top 3 at 130lbs, and cases could be made for low Top 10 at 147 and 154.

It’s kind of hard to argue with his success. He never lost in a pro ring ( at least not yet, if he ever comes back. ) he won titles in like 5 divisions. Beat a number of champions.

Nah just respect the mans skills. Certainly no hero worship. It amazes me how fans of the sport can see such skill and not just tip their hat. Once in a generation talent don’t have to like the man.

Dominated DLH? He was looking clueless for the first half of the fight.

Below 147 he was a joy to watch, but he's overrated.

His 0 is not the end all be all, but it's very relevant given the men he faced.
Had he faced only bums, then his 0 would be irrelevant, but the thing is he hasn't. Discarding is very foolish.

Who has said he isn't a generational talent?

What is wrong with believing that he is an all-time great, but not top 20 all-time?
