His true record is 66-1-2 according to Wiki.

In his first 19 months as a professional, he knocked out eleven of his 13 documented opponents, all of whom were significantly older. However, the elder Reynoso stated in 2013 that Álvarez had fought ten more times in that span, winning all ten by knockout (KO), but that these fights (all in small venues in the Mexican state of Nayarit) were so poorly documented that it was not worth the trouble to seek to have the record corrected. This means that his actual record is 66–1–2 with 48 knockouts.

    Thoughts?

You spam the same thread three or four different times and I'm surprised you have energy left after all the handjobs you give Canelo.

He lost three more fights than his official record indicates, so I guess it all balances out.

My thoughts, it doesn't matter how padded your record is, it's about who you boxed. Padded records just do not cut it anymore, this isn't the 90s.

I don't think it really matters what his true record is tbh. However I could easily believe he had at least 10 unofficial fights not recorded.

Many boxers in the old eras boxed in 'booths' where the fights were not recorded. Not to mention gym 'wars.'

Canelo is one the best fighters of his era regardless of all the controversies associated with him.

I'd have him losing the two fights with Golovkin.
