I think it is poor value for £7.99 per month unless there are at least 2 decent cards per month and no PPV. Got to agree about those prices on Fite TV
I’ve paid for 2 fights on Fite. Lomachenko v Lopez and Taylor v Ramirez. Both were pretty much undisputed fights and I felt I had full value for money at £10 each. The Whyte card is a shambles.
Nope. Sky has the best part of 13 million subscribers in the UK alone (23 million across Europe) and if you then add wholesale subs via BT and Virgin (and Now TV on top) it's probably nearer 20 million. Up to 14 million people watch Sky Sports via official subscriptions. The notion that massive numbers of people steal pay-TV is, and always has been nonsense.
I see they're still doing that stupid footage of someone watching the fight thing, Claressa sat there on her flipping phone, they can't even do that right
The DJ was doing my ****ing head in, it's bad enough now on seemingly all boxing shows you get unnecessary music in between rounds (another thing I'm almost sure Eddie introduced) but last night was the first time they started playing music AFTER the final bell so there's literally no escape from mind numbing, thought suppressing noise other than to just watch in mute. How about trying something different and dropping the DJ and other than ring walks ALL other music ?? Why not try it ??
The Jez Smith vs Rea fight was brilliant. Domestic FOTY. Jez is absolute nails would actually love to see him fight Conor Benn if he can still make 147 or Josh Kelly for his first foray into 154
I am a Sky Sports subscriber but I am the odd one out as nearly everyone I talk to have the other subscription and the numbers are exploding by the month. They call me the Sky Sports Mug!!!!!
You should have been at the home of West Ham United for the Haye v Chisora fight where this fooking rapper got jeered from entering the ring to his exit from the ring. Think he was called Angel and never heard of the fooker again. Frank got the message from the fans and no crappers since.
It is weird I'm a Sky Sports subscriber too (and BT) but don't know anyone else who subscribes however the official numbers for regular Sky is 13 million and the Sky Sports numbers must be fairly high as well
I been a Sky customer since 1996. I ve got Sky+ HD Box + official card etc. and I am very satisfied with the Sky product. There is a big difference watching Sky via Satellite (as I do) and a stream. The Sky satellite picture is working 100 % and the picture quality is amazing.(I hate streaming because of the poor picture).
