With Canelo being a free agent and fighting wherever he wants and Joshua getting beat by Usyk and his stock dropping massively as well as also being a free agent are DAZN in trouble?
I think they are who else have they got in the UK that is Marquee that is going to drive subs at £7.99 a month?
I struggle to see DAZN getting 2 years in the UK market.
Where will this leave Hearn he seems to have burnt his bridges with SKY?
Going to be interesting over the next few months.

I think DAZN will be around in the UK in 2 years time, but the next 18 - 24 months it is going to be VERY interesting.

I have heard that some of Matchrooms boxers are just waiting for their contracts to run out and then they will change to Boxxer/Sky Sports.

I watch most fights on mute if they are UK based the Bias towards the home fighter in UK commentary drives me insane.

Yeah, of course it will. If they effectively become BT Sport + Matchroom Boxing, they'll charge more.

All I said was that their subscription drivers will come from somewhere other than boxing.

If Eh Day really thinks £7.99 is great value for his one card per month pony then it will be game over in 2022.

The purchase of BT Sports will be his saviour in the medium term - should that deal not go through then he will need to start Matchroom TV or bend over for Adam Smith.

He got £1.99 for me for 1 sub then I was off the day it went up to £7.99 after looking at an empty schedule.

I’m not paying 8 quid to watch domestic cards with expert insight from Molly McCann and Declan Rice.

It depends on whether one believes the recent shows have generated new signups or the price increase has seen a major drop off in subscribers.

Without that information its difficult to really answer that question.

If they manage to get BT Sport they will be fine as premier league football and Champions League alone would be enough to get through 2 years.

Listening to Eh Day Earn, I think he has been rattled at the backlash of both the price increase to £7.99 and the DAZN PPV scandal which hit this week.

There is no guarantee that the purchase of BT Sports will make them money either as BT is selling because it actually costs them money due to a saturated Sports Broadcasting Market. There is not a queue of subscribers waiting to fork out their hard earned on another sub which even includes Champions League Football.
