Mikey hasn't had his heart in boxing for some time now.

I stopped being a fan years ago, mostly because he was taking up space at 135, 140, and 147 when I knew he didn't have it in him anymore.

 

Wet sach is absolutely clueless has the IQ of a cabbage.

 

Why does he insist at fight at 147??

Its clearly at least one division too high for him

 

Garcia always bugged me TBF..elite at feather..never looked superhuman but great jab, timing power and accuracy...had the tools to possibly be an all time great.

N he just looked like he could never be arsed after the salido fight...just seemed to want to be a fat **** ...took a few years off...

When he signed up for Spence I thought ...this is it he's going for it...dare to be great....it was a weak capitulation...crap performance.

I always got the impression boxing was just something he was good at..not something he liked...shame...there were so many opponents there for him to have a fantastic résumé....I can barely name anyone he's fought in the last 5 years

 

So he can eat more.

 

What is even worst is this was a catch weight of 145 cause Martin fights at 140 and has no interest at 147.

Even in post fight Martin said he is fighting at his natural weight of 140 or 135, which ever one will get him toward a tittle shot

Bit harsh. People want to forget that going into the Spence he was a distinguished 4 weight division world champion an undefeated fighter. He did not sell his soul he just pushed for greatness. Many thought (mistakenly) that he could beat my boy EJ.

I think he will negotiate it on his term. He will give a rematch but I think he will negotiated it at 140. All this falls on Garcia in my opinion. He dictated the term for the first fight and lost , so Martin should be able to have some say in the rematch.

Mikey was tired of average pay days
147 was the gateway to retirement for him

 

It can be both. I think he thought he could genuinely win as well but he is set up for life.
