Not in the last fight. Usyk was very active from the very start and he keep that pace for 12 rounds. Which is impressive.

The only dog Joshua is, is a labrador or sausage dog.

The guy is so ridiculously corny and delusion.

I think the trainer change may provide a mental boost, thats about it.

Mccracken is the reason he didnt get knocked out, he knew aj didnt have the gas tank even coming in light.

AJ is probably going to come in heavier in this fight and look to steamroll uysk (probably his best chance of winning but a terrible tactic)
He is getting stopped and if his corner doesnt throw in the towel he will go to hospital like wilder.

Fans and pundits need to understand these fellas arent built for heavyweight boxing, they lack the stamina and talent to hang with fury and uysk

He doesnt need to be "Hyper Aggressive". He needs to be relaxed , use his range and choose the right punches, learn to clinch and use his physicality . Physically I feel he would do much better in general if he boxed like Lennox.

That being said, he needs time to rebuild. Simply no time to change up when fighting a guy like Usyk, in an instant rematch.

Hopefully he doesnt quit and takes his time to rebuild, if in the likely event Usyk beats him again.
Problem is Hearn is likely to want to milk his cashcow dry with big fights.

Not sure which trainer brings the best out of him. Abel Sanchez maybe.

One thing i hate about the sky sports commentary team is the way they handled the uysk loss.
'Oh he just didnt turn up, he just needs to come forward and steamroll him'
Nelson called uysk an average southpaw ffs.
They seem to blame joshua for the lose because they have so much misguided faith in him.
Their whole world will come crashing down when steamroller joshua is carted off to hospital

Hire Fury & Hill on a 1 fight contract. Fury already said he'd train him for free, so he'd have to only pay Hill. Stay away from Virgil Hunter as that's a KO for Usyk guaranteed.

Well it was obviously the right choice, he's gone as far as he can with McCracken.

Whether it works or not is highly doubtful he won't have the time to reinvent himself enough to beat Usyk. But for the future it bodes well as he will hopefully continue to improve, though he is 32 now, the room for improvement is small at this age, I don't expect a reinvention to the extent of Lewis or Wlad as both were younger when they changed trainers.

So he apparently keeps Angel Fernandez - the guy he brought in and made him 'box' more leading to what we saw vs Usyk - and boots the trainer who coached him to be the aggressive front-foot physically dominant fighter we witnessed until after the Wlad fight.

But does he really want to debut a new fighting style against a boxer like Usyk and his off-the-scale ring IQ? Anyway his issue is psychological - he freezes in the wheelhouse and won't commit to his punches in the manner we became accustomed to. Maybe a new coach can reverse this long term issue - a tough call - but he won't know until after the first bell rings in the rematch, and sparring will give absolutely no indication how he will react under the lights...

I still prefer the Siberian Steppes, chopping trees and pulling sled montage option with training delivered by a wizened old Russian who he cannot understand, but that would be the best fly on the wall documentary of all time.

Usyk has 100% already been training in anticipation of this kind of change and will likely make the necessary adjustments to punish a more reckless AJ.
