Just had a peek at boxrec to see if that card could still go ahead without the main event .
It's that bad that the recent Newcastle show looks half decent beside it .
    It's a stinker tbf.

I really hope that Eddie Hearn can do some magic and somehow makes the show go ahead, but maybe thats wishfull thinking from me...

Who knew, a Whyte show didn't sell without Sky getting the hype machine behind it...

Must be giving AJ's management some thinking to do when they choose a platform for Usyk 2?

That's a really good point and it shows how much it means to have Sky Sports behind you. It would not surprise me if Sky Sports Boxing in 3 years time are the leaders in the UK.

It sure will. He will need to get a solid huge watertight fortune to go DAZN. Reading between lines other week from a Hearn interview he expects AJ to go DAZN.

Should AJ commit over a long period of time or can he not just make an appointment from fight to fight ?

Diasappointed the fights off. Its one thing getting into a title fight its another thing winning one tho. Wallin would have been decent prep for going in with fury.

Thats boxing nowadays tho...just about getting that big money fight. Hardly blame them but tbh...you should be taking on the guys around top ten at any point if you,ve any real aspirations to win and keep a belt. Wallins not that good. Watched a bit of the breazeale fight and if you cant beat him you really wont win a world title.

Could have been much needed rounds for whyte tho against decent opposition. Someone out there needs to get these guys around top ten level fighting each other. Ortiz, hunter, hrgovic, joyce, ruiz. All just sitting around wasting more and more of their careers. Genuinely think its the one decent thing dazn will bring...that 7.99 will get these sort of fighters active against better opposition...as it goes on. Otherwise its watching ortiz get his big shot at 40 years old.

I blame Earn for this - they all look at the other non elite Heavyweight Joshua and mediocre Heavyweights Whyte, Parker and Chisora getting PPV Loot. They all want PPV Loot.

Madness but while there is a supply of PPV mugths, you cannot blame them.

Seems Whyte has done a "Fury".

Could go fight to fight if the different platforms facilitate it.
