I think he’s been good for UK boxing in that he’s more willing to take some risk and step fighters up sooner than the overly cautious pre-Hearn Warren dominated era where it seemed like every fighter was 30-0 but hadn’t fought anyone

Yeah I quite like Fast Eddie

Clearly works his bollocks off and for me, British boxing is FAR better post-Hearn than it was in the few years pre-Hearn.

I know Joe Gallagher does not like Eddie Hearn but Natasha Jonas can decide for herself where she wants to box ?

There are a few rumours there are some "issues" with Hearn and AJ..

How true they are I have no idea, probably just rumours and people trying to stir stuff.

But apparently this new "life time deal" AJ just signed with Matchroom is a problem.. personally I don't know why, he has just signed it, what has changed in a few months?

Also a few things Eddie and Barry have said post Usyk haven't gone down very well with AJ.

Throw in McCracken and This could get crazy if any of that is true.

I simply do not understand that AJ signed a lifelong contract with Matchroom Boxing ? Why did he not create his own promoter company and negotiate with the various TV companies from fight to fight ? (like Canelo)

I agree, it makes zero sense, maybe that's why he is regretting it.

He just visited Canelo, maybe he got some business advice

Like Hatton's EBU reign of terror until everyone at 140 was shot? I remember those days.

Eddie doesn't drag things out, but my god does he throw his guys in at the deep end.

Maybe AJ is not very smart or he has some very bad advisers ?

Well, I personally believe AJ isn't the brightest, you only have to listen to him talk.

We will see, time will tell, this will all sort itself out over the next month or two.

I said when he signed the deal. Why has he signed a lifetime deal?

Even if AJ did some kind of 'exhibition comeback fight' when he's in his 50s, he'd have to give a slice of the pie to Eddie/Matchroom.

That just doesn't make any sense.

The last year or 2 has seen weird moves by the whole of matchroom fc. I think it all stemmed from eddie getting too big for his boots trying to become the dana white of boxing with dazn then overcompensating with delusions/lines of coke after every failure (first being the takeover of american with his billion dollar war chest) and it's rubbed off on his main fighters (like chisora and dullian thinking they're PPV superstars, connor benn, soup, ebanie and shanny acting like prats etc).
