So because most people think you are going to win a fight you should get no praise if you do so? Ok then LOL
No Fury deserve credit. Wilder is dangerous top fighter but people going overboard. We all knew this would happen. Most thought Fury wins no difficulty. It was great fight. Modern classic but Fury not unbeatable. Fury beat Wilder twice so it's not that impressive third time around especially Fury dropped twice and hurt by uppercut from Wilder
Usyk was awesome against AJ, but I wouldn't be surprised to see Fury blow Usyk away in a couple of rounds, the size difference is simply too much.
Well, he's the best heavyweight of the past...uhhh, decade. Maybe a bit longer. Lennox Lewis was the greatest heavyweight of this generation. Bar none.
Fury does deserve credit. But it's the same guy who he dismantled with ease no knockdown in the second fight and got robbed in the first fight coming off the couch so i have no idea why people are overhyping him again when the 3rd fight performance wasn't too impressive
Dear Tyson, thank You not only for Your countless blessings but for the challenges that draw us near to You. Thank You for the hard moments when You gave us the strength to wait out the storm. Tyson, You are so good. Whatever storms come into my life, You are my Rock and my Shelter. Thank You for Your sustenance that fills me, Your light that surrounds me, and Your love that never fails. In Furys Name, Amen.
its funny, ive had this conversation a few times. before the fight everyone called wilder a complete bum and said he was going to easily be run over.... well guess what, that BUM had the "best heavyweight of our generation" almost KTFO and clinging on for dear life himself. . . it was not an impressive performance by either man. it was an entertaining slugfest where both guys looked sloppy af, and at the end, the most exhausted one ended up napping until he was caught with a punch. thats it
It was a great fight that superceded expectations, of course people were going to be high on the result.
The one thing this forum makes me realise is that no matter what a person does, it'll never be good enough for everyone
He managed to beat the crap out of the reigning champion that has been stinking up the joint for years. A big relief seeing Wilder get ko'd and outclassed. Everyone knows he lacks skills. Well, except for one....a right hand. Maybe, just maybe, if he hadn't acted like a nitwit and displayed some class during his reign things would have been different. Remarks pertaining to wanting a "body" on his record and all the other nonsensical crap. The complete lack of sportsmanship befitting a champion..or even a decent man...did not endear him to any one. I have disliked some fighters in the past yet managed to feel empathy for them when they lose. The last I checked my empathy level has not been drained by one drop after Wilder's loss.
The "reigning" champion who's only good wins are Luis Ortiz and Bumane Stiverne and was stirred away from Whyte and unfortunately never fought Povetkin either. I saw nothing different from Wilder in that third fight. The fact that Fury got dropped twice and hurt again in the mid rounds against a slower version of Wilder in the 3rd fight says more about Fury than it does Wilder. Wilder is a good fighter but he's overrated.
I thought Floyd would win every fight and that's why to me he is not an ATG because he did what was expected. I have AJ just cracking the top 20 of all time, ever, now because of his incredible resume and gutsy performances.
https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/stupid#:~:text=1 : not intelligent : having or,are you being so stupid? Textbook definition of stupid. Floyd is an ATG. Obviously not the greatest but he's a great. Also Joshua does not crack top 20. Absolutely no way. Unless you're referring to H2H. In that case he might be at the bottom of the top 20 but only because of his size and power
