Great fight, only negative is one of them would have to take an L. I wonder where their original opponents disappeared to?

Being from Qld & WA respectively, maybe the Covid situation in NSW precluded their attendance? Was looking forward to both of those fights.

Big news - sure you're not angling for @juppity's job? Is going to be trained by Johnny Lewis. With a Commonwealth games gold & Olympic medal, he's fulfilled his potential as an amateur. There's not really anything left for him to achieve. I think his skills will take him a fair way as a pro although his fighting style is better suited to the amateurs. One thing Johnny Lewis does well is pick good opponents to develop fighters so it will be interesting to follow his progress. I reckon they'll put him on the PPV section of the Junior Tszyu show so we'll get a look at him then.

Glad to see both Wade Ryan & Joel Camilleri matched up with decent opponents. With Wade Ryan facing a Japanese Junior Middle, I'm looking forward to a double victory by Australia over Japan on 17 November. Boom! And double-boom!!

Jai Opetaia's warm-up fight in Dec is rumoured to be against Trent Broadhurst. Hmmm. I think we might see another 'boom' in that one. Possibly very early on. Not exactly what I had in mind as a tune-up fight for him prior to taking on the best credentialed Cruiser in the World.

Big news on Justis Huni. It's full steam ahead with a professional career. I guess the take-aways from his amateur career are a World Amateur championships medal plus the fact that he faced both of the guys who made the Olympic Super Heavy final. For a win & a loss. Kind of excited to see him in significant fights early in his pro career. I think that's the way to do it from this part of the world. No mucking around. If he gets past Junior Fa, the likes of Derek Chisora & Joseph Parker should be targets. And Hemi Ahio & Demsey McKean as well. Plus that bloke from Kazakhstan who he didn't face in the amateurs but who took a bronze at the Olympics. That was a fight that should have happened twice but didn't. And maybe also that other Kazakh who can't get fights but who took bronze at the previous two Olympics. I think he can't get fights for good reasons though. Perhaps he's a bridge too far. They're all meaningful fights that I would like to see occur as part of Huni's development.

I'd like to see Huni in with Babic.

I think he would be the perfect fighter to showcase Justis in the UK.

Yeah I heard Gallen saying that Aloiai wanted 4 x 2min rounds and Gallen said that's a joke needs to be 6 x 3min.
Gallen really shouldn't be wasting his time with a fight like this. I understand he needs to fight a recognized name and not just an average Aussie heavyweight. I would rather see a Mark Hunt rematch, make an offer to Quade Cooper? I even reckon fighting Monte Betham Jnr would be ok if he is in shape and had time to prepare at least he has decent boxing experience. Obviously the big fight is SBW or a Barry Hall rematch but those fights might take time.

Money Bill will run the clock down with that fight. Im not confident we will ever see it.

Agree Gal shouldn't waste his time on a 4 x 2 fight against a league player.

Read Big Bad Bazza hurt his rib in that TV show.
