Wilder defended his title TWICE against the best fighter in boxing.

Who do you rate higher at heavyweight than Tyson Fury? Would you prefer he fought guys who were rated LOWER than Tyson Fury?

NAME ALL THE GUYS YOU RATE HIGHER THAN TYSON FURY?

    Otherwise, you're a troll.

Relax about what? Simple question. If you don't consider defending against the best fighter in the WHOLE SPORT twice a decent opponent, who is a decent opponent?

Tell us who is better, or it's just trolling.

Did you forget he cherry picked him because he was a suicidal, depressed, overweight, shell of himself who hadn't fought in a long time?

And he just becomes the best heavyweight because he beats Wilder?

Why didn't Wilder turn away AJ then who was the unified champ?

Wilder has a **** poor resume outside of a geriatric Ortiz who was not even that special
.. this is a pointless thread .... He had AJ who was better than a decripid inactive overweight suicidal Fury ...

Yes, Fury looked very depressed, overweight and shell of himself the night he fought Wilder? :hang

Come up with a new narrative. He didn't fight the Tyson Fury who showed up at the Klitschko II press conference in 2016 weighing 300 bills. Wilder fought the most active top-rated challenger in the division that year who was fighting for the third time in six months.

    Wilders intentions were clear

Fury may have been the best heavyweight in the world during the second flight where Wilder was brutalized but he was not better than AJ for the first fight and not better than Usyk for the last fight .... That can be contested clearly ....

Wilders resume is trash. Aside from Fury the best fighter was old man Ortiz, who himself is of dubious accomplishment.q

Yes, aside from fighting the BEST HEAVYWEIGHT IN THE WORLD THREE TIMES ... the best fighter Wilder faced was the then fifth-rated heavyweight in the world TWICE.

FIVE TITLE FIGHTS (eight knockdowns scored) against the very best heavyweight on the planet and the fifth best heavyweight on the planet.

    How terrible.

Maybe he should've fought the 8th rated Michael Hunter, the 9th rated Oscar Rivas and the 10th rated Adam Kownacki five times instead.

Wilders team was actually tricked into talking the wilder fight, warren rang them and said Tyson's finished, he wants to cash out lol

You'd do better if you didn't try to stretch every argument you make so thinly. No-one who knows boxing will accept your classification of Fury as the top rated challenger in the division that year, nor will they take those two 'fights' against Seferi and Pianeta as evidence that Fury was the most active challenger. Fury hadn't fought a meaningful top level fight for over years when he stepped in the ring against Wilder. He was better conditioned than some feared based on the Pianeta bout, but he was a pale shadow of the man that beat Wlad or the Fury of the second fight. His movement was better but he hadn't recovered his power.

You know this too. You know that Fury was a cherry pick that went horribly wrong, just admit it. Wilder gets credit for taking the second match after only A side privilege kept him from a loss in LA. Trying to make out that he was looking for the most dangerous fight available when he came to Belfast and saw Fury fighting in the flesh is an argument you're never going to win.

It was also pointed out that frank warren in a way tricked team wilder into taking the fight.
He called them up saying tysons finished and wants to cash out

I think as john fury said ,fury still took the fight way too soon was at max 40% but got the job done and got robbed.
He didn't look great in his two fights back like playing possum.
I believe uysk did something similar against chisora

If so, superb angling on Team Fury's part.

The thought had crossed my mind.
