I know it's a bit pointless, but imagine Fury beats Whyte, then the winner of AJ vs Usik 2, then the loser, then Joe Joyce.

Meanwhile Wilder beats three of the current to 6 or 7 by knock-out.

Where would that put Fury on the all-time heavyweights list? Where would it put Wilder?

I'd argue that It would make Fury's record look incredible, not least for achieving two (three? ;-) ) wins vs one of the biggest punchers in HW history. And it would make Wilder's look pretty damn incredible too... basically Wilder would have proven himself to be an unbeatable knock-out artist apart from the fact that the incredible boxer in Fury had a chin that stood up to Wilder's power.

I can see how some might look at one or both of those fighters and see gaps in their experience that makes them look a long way for all time greats... but then again I think that a bit more on both CVs and it'd really make them both but especially Fury, look incredible.

I honestly can’t see Fury having 3 more fights,if he gets Undisputed fight and wins then that’s him retired .

If you put money (say $100) on that now at some online bookie, you will probably make a killing if that actually happens.

Fury could retire now and if Wilder went on and beat 3 good heavyweights Fury's ranking would rise a great deal.
Anything positive Wilder might do know only adds to Fury's legacy.
Because it is impossible now for Wilder to become better (age 36 and coming off two savage beatings). It is highly likely he is diminished. So if he achieves anything from here on it reflects well on Fury, whose superiority over him is beyond any doubt whatsoever.

Il supposed wilder in his remaining fights, he can fight for fury, to improve his resume. They can call this part of his career redemption of a dosser

Three fights for either guy could possibly stretch out to 6 years , 3 years being the most likely scenario. By then Fury would have made enough to coke binge and do what he wants. I don’t see any motivation of letting Wilder land a lucky punch on him before he retires. What exactly would motivate Fury for a fourth fight ?

Wilder lost and will never avenge the 2 KO. He had three chances.

Ok i have rode Wilders ass for a long time, i am giving him a slight break after his team released a congrats to Fury. Even if he didnt compose it i believe he approved it and thats good enough.

That said, i cant see Wilder ever changing when it comes to fighting the top guys often, he was a cherry picker for as long as he could keep it up prior to finally taking a chance with Fury (who had been badly out of shape and not looked great returning),

so i just cant see Wilder all the sudden taking on tough top ranked fighters to prove himself. I think deep down he is aware that he struggled against some non top ranked guys in ways that other elite boxers would not have and i think that was the driving force for him taking so long to step up even after winning a title.

Fury might retire, but I can garantee now, he'll be fighting in 10 years time. No way does he stay away from boxing. And he has the potential to be the oldest heavyweight champion of all time.

By the time Fury fights 3 times, Wilder will be pushing 50 years old.

Can you imagine how many Wilder threads there will be if Wilder fights three more times?
