    1. Herbie Hide (personally I think he hit the hardest by far)
    2. David Haye
    3. Bert Cooper (really close to Haye)
    4. Murat Gassiev
    5. Evander Holyfield

    Honorable Mentions:

    - Ossie Ocasio
    - Juan Carlos Gomez
    - S. T. Gordon
    - and maybe... Tony Fulilangi

    Ezra Sellers!

    He was a real kamikaze fighter who would unload everything he had on a guy.

    You hear "kill or be killed" a lot to describe fighters who get KO'd a lot but Ezra was the real deal.

    It's tough to pick one but I would say Haye has to be up there as well Gassiev and Yuniel Dorticos. The division has been so good over the last five years or so and probably the best It's ever been was the tournament that Uysk won.

    When the division went from 190 to 200 pounds we saw a shift from shorter former lightheavies that couldn't make weight anymore to guys that traditionally would have been heavyweights in other era's that didn't want to compete with 6'7 plus heavyweights. These guys are cutting down from the 220's to compete and are mostly all murderous hitters.

    If by today's terms small heavies are being included, which seems to be the case, one Brown Bomber comes to mind...


    Of those who have fought in the 1979 onwards 190-200lbs division, as mentioned one punch power wise Sellers would be #1.


    Also as mentioned Holyfield, Lampkin, Haye And ST Gordon would also be sniffing around.


    To add to the debate, and I am sure Glenn McCrory would agree, Siza Makathini seemed to have big clubbing power. McCrory/Makathini was a fine brawl, that is often overlooked; even at the time!


    As ITV, when they showed it, showed the first five rounds, which the big South African dominated, and the final round (11) where Glenn won by knockout. Thus failing to show how McCrory slowly turned things around from rounds six to ten.
