I don't understand where you coming from that comment?

I rate Taylor extremely highly and always have done. Taylor fight against Prograis was a fight of the year contender.

I'd love to see Taylor give Tank a schooling

Carl Froch is another good example. He only became really big and famous when he got the Sky Machine behind him. Sky Sports will build Josh Taylor up to become known to the general public. He gets a mega fight in 2022.

Taylor would put a beating on little tank I'm 100% sure of that..would love to see that but no chance his cronies put him in with Taylor.teofimo Lopez would fight Taylor I think and is more realistic for 22.

Would love to see the level of opposition naz aj or Hatton faced at in there 10th to 17th fights.

Easy to hype simple describe his cv willing take on best domestic European and at world not like others who have fought nobody's or kid on world titles.

U don't need to have mega fights its how your promoted and sky is best platform do that look at chisora a plodder gases after 2 rounds a walking punchbag lost any 1 remotely near world level and he's a so called ppv draw all down great marketing
. People massively underestimate power marketing sky sports news has for instance ,
the skills the he has and the fights that are available for them to make could be absolutely massive if done properly

Taylor is more talented than all of them..you don't become undisputed in under 20 fights if you're not a bit special..it's sad but he will never be a British ppv star even with sky's backing.

Naz was a star not because the level of opposition but his whole persona. You will never see a fighter that small draw what he did again. He was a guy that people either loved or hated plus he had dynamite in his hands. Naz was a promoters dream as he had everything an athlete needs to become a crossover star. A great talker and so much charisma that you wouldn't want to do anything else than watch him fight.

Hatton another guy who's persona got him over. The public really could relate to him as he was just like the general public.

Does anyone call chisora a box office star?

It's not just the sky machine. As I said before Frampton v Quigg was promoted hugely but didn't perform as expected.

Loma v Crolla was a show I think Hearn said lost money due to the ppv buys not hitting the target and that had Sky.

Calzaghe fought on Sky and terrestrial TV even won bbc sports personality of the year but even with an unbeaten record he was never a huge star. It just was never going to happen for him.

Of course if Taylor was on Sky from day 1 he would be bigger, no doubt about that.

Sadly many on social media (mainly twitter and facebook) seem to think chisora is a ppv star and a genuine threat to the better fighter. Painful to think .

Your spot on about naz .

Lopez vs Taylor would be sensational.

So many good fights to be made around 135 140 147 for many fighters hopefully we get see many get made

(Also think Davis won't go near Taylor and will chase Garcia as sell well )

It works like this for promotion in the uk for boxing

    English London/Southern fighters
    English Northern fighters
    Scottish fighters, Welsh fighters
    Northern Irish fighters

In that order. You will get far more promotion as an englishman than one of the celtic countries

( also being a person of colour helps tick boxes in this PC time so you'll get more push hence why ohara davies a black londoner englishman was a much bigger name than taylor when they fought)

I would agree regarding regions but race? No that's BS.

Ohara Davies was bigger as he was matchroom on Sky. Taylor was cyclone and it had nothing to do with Davies being black.

Yh it's not really about race. Of course a bigger mouthpiece will make more noise (Matchroom/sky Vs Cyclone) but you gotta give them something to shout about, at the time O'Hara was knocking people out and had those crazy long arms to help create that image.

No it's not really about race but you can't say it doesn't help a fighters ppv marketability in Britain at present.whyte and chisora prime examples.
