Wilder made 10 defences in 5 years.

Also I think, Vitali made 13 successful defences if you are combining WBO + WBC

But regarding Fury, I imagine even if he goes undefeated, I doubt he will go much beyond age 36/37, so probably about 6 or 7 total. It's really up to him though, and he is so unpredictable it's almost impossible to say

Vitali had 12 (not 15) over three reigns.
Joshua had 7 (not 9) over two reigns.

Wilder had 10 in one reign.

Will Fury make more defenses than Wilder? No.

Will Wilder win another title and catch Vitali? Maybe.

 

Vitali had 12 over three reigns. He regained the WBC title when he defeated Sam Peter. Peter was the defending champ.

Fury was brought to this earth by the fighting gods for the entire purpose of ending bum dossers who think they are something because they defended a plastic belt.

Fury has angered the gods by having his first title defence last month.

Nobody cares or remembers about title defences or number of titles.

Fury will beat Usyk in either fantastic or skin of teeth fashion before sailing into the sunset

 

I do not think he will stay much longer in the sport to be honest. I can see him beating Whyte then calling it off.

Fury has zero intention of getting anywhere near the number of defences of Wilder, his love for the sport died years ago, he cannot be assed to be in training camp, wants the high profile fights only.

 

When you say the sunset do you mean the WWE?

I hope he fights as long as he can within reason. As a fan of his, I would like to see him clear out the division. I don't know why you would promote this idea that it's all good for him to beat Usyk, not fight Joshua, and sail off into the sunset. He should also be fighting guys like Joyce (an olympic medalist who is 3 years older than him).

I expect him to at a minimum fight Whyte, Usyk and Joshua
But, my fan boy scenario for him would be to stick around, fight Joyce, Yoka, Hrgovic and finally take Jalolov in his final fight, retiring win or lose.

He likes the money and the fame, is indifferent to the fighting, and can no longer tolerate the training.

 

Probably not. I dont think Fury's the kind of guy who cares all that much about title defences. He might only have one or two more fights left in him before he loses interest in boxing altogether and goes off to be a pro-wrestler or something. He's a very unpredictable personality.

I dont think its that he cant be bothered to train

its just he easily gets out of shape and needs an exteemely on point camp to get in good nick. the 2nd Wilder boit was him in great form super focused and conditioned.

Was a little dissapointing to see the lack tone on him compared to the 2nd Wilder bout. Fury can easily overtrain though, holding good muscle mass is hard for him.

 

If he faces the same.bums wilder did he could beat all ten of them in a month
