No, you’re just a hater. Frazier was maybe slightly past his absolute peak for Foreman 1, but his fundamentals hadn’t declined. Tyson looked like sluggish dog**** from the first round against Douglas, and didn’t even bother with the defense that had made him special. The thread isn’t about who had the best defense on average over a ten year period, it’s about who had the best defense. Tyson in 87 had the best defense.
I can't remember ever once disrespecting you, my friend. In fact, I know I haven't. I actually complimented you on several occasions.
I'd like to see @Unforgiven here. The Tyson fans in this thread are just that little nudge from totally imploding and I think he might just be the man to provide it.
To be clear, though, I made this thread because I think this is an interesting discussion and I have no problems with anyone picking Tyson, even though I picked Frazier myself. But the overreaction of especially NoNeck and Sangria is just pure entertainment,
Indeed. Although, it doesn't seem to be all that long ago since he dished out his last lashing on them. Some are just emboldened by an undeniable case put to them, anyway. Then comes the nonsensical stuff, which renders the discussion useless (save, for some comedy value).
He's 2 faced. So long as you're praising Tyson you're all good. Disagree with him and he casts you out like a leper. You are one of the nicest guys on the forum. I automatically assume the other person has an issue if they're lashing out. There are very few level headed Tyson fans who can just agree to disagree, many have to turn the discussion ugly for some reason.
Thanks! The Tyson haters seem to come together like Voltron in these threads. And even when they're wrong - they pretend they're right. I know bull**** when I see it. All good. This is a boxing forum so you can type whatever you like.
Speaking of nonsensical, you're the ring leader. Nobody wants to read your novels. You spend so much time here so why not write a book?
I voted for Iron Mike, because he could be really impressive defensively in the early rounds. But he did seem to get sloppier or...I guess he just seemed to care less as the fight wore into the mid to late rounds. Watch Frazier through the entirety of the FOTC. Yeah, he still got hit...by one of the fastest heavyweights whom ever lived (even at the age of 29).
Yes, and that was the reason for Mike's downfall, but who gives a **** what he did after Rooney, this is just about prime.
