Wilder also lied for a solid 12 months and got handled again. Arguably losing 3 fights in a row, with the last being the nail in the coffin.
Hardly comparable to a one-sided boxing clinic from Usyk.

Joshua's loss to Ruiz was more devastating as that was someone Joshua should have beaten 99/100 (public perception). Anyone that knows what Usyk brings to the table knows full well his style was all wrong for the limited Joshua.

Natural 270 pound man vs bloated 225 pound man

neither are known to be punchers

I'd rather take the beating off the 225 pound man who isn't wrestling me or throwing many looping shots.

As much as AJ was thoroughly beaten up and rocked badly a few times, it was nothing like the savage beating Wilder suffered. The man was barely conscious for half the fight for god's sake, it was immensely brutal. Only his massive heart kept him up for most of that affair.

You do realise Wilder had two fights of his own (Breazeale and Ortiz II) between the first and second Fury fight? It wasn't three consecutive fights (which were losses of course) against Fury like you seem to think here.

not true, my goal was not my record, it was to get UD'd and then get the same guy to knock me right out for good in my dressing room.

What do i care about my record?

MMA fighters say this a lot, "I'd rather be KOd than mauled for 3 rounds"

Wilder only loses by his corner throwing the towel in against his will or going out on his shield,he is one tough stubborn fighter,he has never turned up just to take part and surrender like Joshua did.If you have to lose, you go out in the most honourable way possible and Wilder did that and more . Some people may disagree but the majority of fighters would prefer to go out this way, hence why most fighters said that nobody lost in that trilogy fight .

Apologies, I can understand how that reads - what I meant was, 3 losses in a row to Fury

Joshua-Usyk easy. Joshua just got outclassed and was never really seriously hurt or out on his feet. He did post-fight press and I don’t even think he went to the hospital after. Wilder took a hellacious pounding to that tiny little brain of his for many rounds before getting brutally knocked out cold. He may never be the same.
