Quite a few people are now saying Fury will be made Franchise champion.

And that would leave Whyte to face either Ruiz or Joyce.. maybe even Ortiz or Sanchez.

Excuse my ignorance, but what would that mean for Fury in the next 6/12 months?

I don't agree with the franchise nonsense, but in this case I would be on board.

Whyte has ducked final eliminators, turned down the unified AJ fight, the Rivas drug fiasco and now this wallin pullout (a fight cancelled and not rescheduled, why not reschedule for the December show?)

    Agreed.

I'd laugh my cobblers off if Whyte had to fight someone dangerous before he got another shot.

He's a fraud who has simply played the long game, and is now acting up over a so called injury.

Hopefully he never gets a shot.

Joyce would beat AJ imagine. His stamina and chin are far superior than AJs, that would be difference imo.

Well if you watched both of their fights with Perez in their prime, I don't under stand why you believe Jennings to be the better fighter than Perez. Just curious why?

I knew Fury would bottle it and the WBC protect him.

That said I would back Whyte to beat Ruiz and he would batter Ortiz in a miss match. Vs Joyce is a 50/50. I'd back Sanchez to beat Whyte though.

Based on what? Arum, who's exactly the sort of person who'd probably want something like that to transpire, as recently as yesterday has cited Fury's next fight as being in the UK and most likely against Whyte or Joyce.

The WBC rulings are a joke.
But that goes for Whyte's career too. His entire reputation of late has been built on the WBC's insane Silver Belt and rankings.

I expect Fury will find time to beat him up anyway.

Jennings has better technique, can box decent on the inside and has enough reach to fight well at length if required

Sure, he is no world beater but as an all rounder for me he is miles ahead of Takam

Perez never entered my convo so not sure why I'm asked to compare them

Triangle theories are all good but not fool proof in execution, far from it

Whyte’s mando should of evaporated in the night sky that he was left staring up into after geriatric Povetkin obliterated him. Should of had to fight his way back up the ratings like everyone else, not just win a rematch. Bloke is a bellend, ducking fights, rejecting title shots, failing drugs tests and now clearly bailing on Wallin with a fake injury.

I actually prefer Joyce fighting Fury over Whyte. Doubt either happens anytime soon however.

Sadly that's not true from a business point of view. Whyte has proved he can sell on his own - not to stadium ticketing levels, but certainly UK PPV. Fury is an unknown quantity here, especially if he sticks with BT Sport, and needs a dance partner to earn the money he's had out of Wilder and ESPN.

Joyce couldn't draw flies at the moment and needs a big step-up fight to change that, sadly he's too good for most people to risk it. You kind of think Joshua would do given all his fights sell, but I'm not sure his handlers would allow it.
