Lately a bunch of people newer to the sport are calling every left hook a "check left hook". A check hook is a very specific punch, it's not just a counter hook. "Educated lead hand" - maybe they just know how to box? "He's still learning"
''I'm not one to make excuses but *insert excuse (s)*'' ''Distance control'' ''Most definitely'' --The Tuscaloser ''You want I'm should to do?'' -- Sergey Kovalev ''Beep you, motherbeeper!'' -- Clenelo ''He Called Me a Motherbeeper/Don't Disrespect My Mother'' Alvaroids
"Check hook"... It makes me cringe every time I hear someone say it. It's so stupid. I would say it or accept it if used properly, but people don't know what it is. Mayweather said it post fight in the ring and it stuck with the moron fans...

Don’t hook with a hooker. Or is it don’t date a hooker? Definately don’t marry a hooker, especially if she’s still working. And while you are at it, don’t hook a hooker. Unless she pulls a blade on you and tries to rob you.
"He got exposed" "He's not gonna be the same again" "He was never that good" "______ is ducking ______ "
