You beat me to it. I don't feel passionately enough about Inoue either way to get involved in the primary argument here, but I have to wonder why a fight fan would cite Johnny Tapia as an analogue for a fighter he believes is merely good but highly overrated.

Johnny was an exceptionally skilled boxer. Much more skilled and accomplished than Artur frickin' Beterbiev, who this guy appears to (idolize) rate over Inoue and presumably Tapia. Beterbiev's signature win came against a guy whose main accomplishment in a very slight body of work (less than twenty bouts) was a KO of Adonis Stevenson — ripe for the picking, having grown old while holding a belt hostage through a series of middling defences up to that point, coming off a life and death struggle with Badou Jack a few months prior — and who quit pro boxing to pursue business ventures after losing his 0.

You’ll just have to excuse Tinman, Tapia is probably the only 118 pounder he’s ever heard of.

It may not be exciting to all, but I thought Tapia's thorough out boxing of the longer, hard hitting, very, very underrated Konadu (who KTFO Sahaphrom, a dominant near 'great' in his own right) was great to watch. If he had done that in today's climate after his 115lb career he'd be extremely hyped imo. The Romero fight, happening today, would probably make him legitimately overhyped on boards like this.

When Beterbiev does the equivalent of moving up several weight classes and fighting a Barrera level opponent whilst already past prime then I'll be interested in the hype.

Inoue might make Casimero quit again if he isn't outright knocked out. Once a quitter always a quitter.

We've seen Inoue fight through a broken eye socket from the second round and put a beating on Nonito.

We've seen Casimero lose to bums and cowardly quit in a fight.

Do you at least agree that Inoue has more balls? I mean, it's a statement of fact, so you don't have a choice in accepting this.

Washed up Donaire lol... Guy looking like a punching bag who lands one bail out punch here and there.

Donaire is going around running from Casimero via wifey's advice.Casimero fights Donaire daddy Rungundeaux probably the most skilled in the division albeit old AF.

Still stands Inoue chose to fight so weak opps instead of pushing for the Casimero fight.

Nonaire, come man. Guy is washed up his timing, legs and reflexes are nearly gone. He has been looking like a punching bag for years. With a bail out left hook.

Honaire also a turtle hiding under his wife skirt. Both these guys are cowardly chose to cancel fight with Quadro alas lng malaks.it's a proven fact.

Why would you choose to fight some guy with 12-2 record and 2 years as pro in boxing? Come on now....

I think he feels Casimeo is not washed up yet so he wont take a risk...Wait just for the right time.

This guy won his superfly title against 40 year old Narvaez didnt't bother fighting elites in the division which in my opinion he would have wrecked badly.

Then he won his next title via smashing british bambi Jamie Mcdonell. Look his work at 118 is better than his 115 foray but still he only beaten an old past prime Donaire to date.

Okay, as long as you understand Inoue has more balls than Casimero, I'm good.

Yeah, the opponent sucks and it's disappointing, but we're not talking about that. We're talking about your idiotic statement that Honito has been looking like a punching bag for years. If you couldn't see the speed, determination, and form that Honito showed against Burnett and Young, then you DKSAB. I hate Honito, but have no doubt that he'd destroy Casimero, who I do like.

Inoue will fight Casimero (who btw, already signed to fight someone) and the Dipaen fight hasn't even been confirmed. Inoue will KO Casimero and turn him into the gatekeeper he really is.

    Life and death?

Dude got his eye socket broken in the second round and took a handful of flush shots. Other than that, he put a beating on Donaire and won clear and without controversy.

Just as long as you know he won his title against an old man 40 year old Narvaez. Didn't fight the elites in the division.
Ran to 118 and fought bambi boy Jamie Mcdonell. Then gets eye socket cracked by a washed up 37 year old Honaire. I'm good.

Inoue smoked and destroyed Narvaez in his 8th pro fight. Narvaez hadn't ever been stopped and a prime rampaging Nonito couldn't do anything to him. It was a savage and brutal beating. Deal with it.

Casimero has lost to bums and he quit in a fight (the most disgraceful thing you can do in a fight). 57 year old Rigondeaux made Casimero look completely lost, ineffective, and dumb. 57 year old Rigondeaux actually landed the harder and cleaner shots, so Casimero's "win" wasn't at all impressive and Rigondeaux could have easily gotten the decision.

Casimero's sounds like a ******, lost to a lot of bums, and is forever a quitter. Them's facts.

Inoue is a multi-weight champ, carved a path of brutal highlight reel KOs, won a tournament, and is recognized by EVERYONE as a Top 3 P4P fighter. Casimeo isn't even Top 15. Them's facts.

    :deal:

You comparing seriously 40 year old Rungundeux with 40 year old Narvaez. It's apples and oranges. Gold medalist slick and Honaire's Daddy.

Nonaire has always been an overrated boxer with left hook. The fact that washed up Honaire cracked his eye socket is errrr...concerning..

Now, Why wasn't Casimero invited in the tournament? Instead of picking some BS weak opps. Old Donaire, Boloney and Rican eye plucker. Come on now1..

Now we want him to sign the contract stop the turtle hiding in a shell when danger is coming..That's why I said. He needs to brutalize his brother Takuma then that might light a FIRE in Inoue to come out of his shell.

40 year old Rungundeaux is leagues and levels above anyone on Inoue list. Thems are facts!

You're dissing Honito, but you do realize that Honito is far more accomplished than Casimero as he's an ATG, right?

You're missing the point. Rigondeaux was 9 years older than when Honito fought him and Casimero barely scraped by.

And you do realize that a punch is a punch, right? And it's about placement and angle and often times luck. The right hand Honito landed in the 10th round was far more devastating and powerful than the left hook that broke the eye. Come on, use your brain. Why do you think some jabs have knocked people out, but the power punches didn't?

How do you know Casimero wasn't invited? More like, he didn't sign up. Mikey Garcia said he didn't want to join the 140 tournament, so it's really up to the fighters.
