Ya sure, get wilder back in for the fourth fight too, anyone can beat anyone, he should eat porridge and drink lucozade sports while his at it, that's what winners do
Wilder has no skillset and he has never worked on it either. He fell in love with his power and neglected everything else. He is also stubborn, ignorant and hard to teach. Joshua is the exact opposite. I am not saying the fight with Usyk will yield a different outcome but Joshua is willing to do make tough changes to give it a go.
Yeah this is spot on. He sounds confused and is contradicting himself throughout. He needs less people around him not more IMO. Usyk is a brilliant fighter but I don't buy in to this notion that AJ has no chance. Just a 10% improvement from him would work wonders but to do that he just needs to be single minded and go all in. It's like he wants to move on but at the same time doesn't. If you want a new trainer, get one and bin the other one off. Move to the States and fully commit, it's not rocket science. He sounds more like his old self which is a positive because he's going to have be fired up and nasty to have any hope of winning, regardless of what tactics he chooses.
Scared to death, scared to look, they shook 'Cause ain't no such things as halfway crooks Thats AJ, stuck in the middle between styles with a confused mindset. Go all out, Femi. New trainer, agressive roadman style. No media hypejob marketing styles. Otherwise he will ger beat for sure.
I think the truth is he just found his ceiling. Joshua is never going to be an ATG fighter because he just doesn't have the skill or the talent. He's a decently skilled big guy who can beat all the contenders and hold his own against the elite guys in the division. I dont see him ever progressing beyond where he is now though.
What a horrific cringefest full of contradictions Gave Usyk zero credit and then Mr. ''No Excuses'' proceeds to throw his training team under the bus and tries to shift all the blame onto them under the guise of ''self-accountability.'' Remember he knew exactly what he did wrong the following day after the fight and twice during that interview he said this ''Champ, how did you lose to this guy?'' Er. because he's a much better fighter than you and he would beat you 100 times out of 100 with utter ease if you weren't way bigger than him But now he's touring the gyms of the US seeking advice from all their top trainers on how to defeat the inactive CW who outclassed him in his own backyard despite them giving away huge physical advantages in terms of size, weight, reach, height, strength and power and fighting on a deck which was heavily stacked against them in front of over 65,000 raucous partisan fans.. This content is protected ...who he predicted he was going to ''KO Kronk style'' which I'm pretty sure is an aggressive style, right? This content is protected 'Anthony Joshua says he feels under pressure to deliver a spectacular finish when he returns to boxing in front of a big crowd for the first time in three years against Oleksandr Usyk on Saturday. It was September 2018 that Joshua stopped Alexander Povetkin at Wembley in front of 80,000 fans, the last in a run of huge stadium events that had begun with his career-defining win over Wladimir Klitschko. But since then, things have been on a smaller scale – fights with Andy Ruiz Jr in New York and Saudi Arabia and a 1,000-strong Covid-restricted crowd at Wembley Arena. Joshua insists, however, that he is better now than ever before. “I feel better now than I did going into the Klitschko fight,” Joshua said. “It’s not about nerves but I’m just more experienced and I know what I’m doing. I know what I'm going to do – I just know – a knockout. “It’s Kronk style. I've been watching a lot of certain things – I like Emanuel Steward's mindset. Obviously, you have to do your ABCs but if you follow them you get to KO. “That’s what I’m here to do – put on a spectacular show. People want to see knockouts. That’s what we’ve got to deliver for the fans.” “The last place I would want to be is facing myself, Joshua said, “I’m not an easy fight for anyone. I love fighting. God has blessed me and shown me the path to get into boxing. “There has to be a reason why I’m here because it has been so quick. I’m here, I’m happy and I’m blessed. “I don’t fight good fights to get people to respect me, but if you tell me to fight King Kong, I’d give it a go. This is my job, I’m just going to work. This is a blessing, these are the best days of my life.” Joshua believes he has improved since he last boxed, having used much of lockdown to concentrate on improving his craft. “You’ve got to want to train, you’ve got to want to put the work in, you’ve got to want to improve,” he said. “When I started boxing it was fun because I was absolutely **** when I started. I’m still getting better. “I used to train and get better and three months later, I’d come back and, beat the guys who used to beat me up. This fight gave me the motivation to practice against a really good fighter, so I’ve had fun in camp. “Through practice, you can see improvements. Like a dog or a baby, I’ve praised when I do well and that makes me want to do give more.” If it was a case of just getting the tactics wrong all he needs to do is just change them for the rematch, right? You wouldn't have to revamp everything and head on over to the US to pick the minds of their top trainers and absorb and learn as much as he can from them if that were the case. He's consulting the world for advice on how to beat a little CW It's not about what AJ did wrong it's about what Usyk, who had everything against him, did right and what he allowed AJ to do and not do to in the ring. Usyk hurt the much bigger man a couple of times throughout the fight and came very close to stopping him at the end of the 12th and when AJ tried to assert his authority in one round or during stages of the fight Usyk took it away from him in the following round or in the 7th after AJ had his two good rounds in a row and showed him who was the boss in there was. People acting like Usyk didn't hurt him and that him doing so didn't play a part in how things played out And what in god's name is this? I literally died from a cringe overdose after watching this Timestamped This content is protected
damn the timestamp is bizarre lmao. He's from watford. There's a reason he mentioned drug dealers from America, because he's from a dead town and a nice nigerian immigrant household
It was his ''I am a king, I am strong, I will rise again'' moment. Utterly bizarre. Should leave that kind of thing to the dosser
